Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Squared Circle know that combat can be an art form. They train for many years to perform the athletic feats they are known for, with an emphasis on showmanship and spectacle. Their monasteries are less halls of devotion, and instead take the form of dojos, gyms, carnival halls, and in the many basements across the realms where young children rough house with their friends and siblings.
The Art of Violence
At 3rd level you know how to tell a story through combat. You gain proficiency in the Performance and Intimidation skills.
Submission Specialist
At 3rd level you know how to manipulate your opponents limbs. You may expend a Ki point to attempt to put a creature that is no more than one size larger than you into a submission hold. The creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or become Grappled. When a creature is grappled by you in this way they take bludgeoning damage equal to your martial arts die at the start of each of their turns until they break the grapple.
High Flyer
Beginning at 6th level, you can use your speed and agility to create opportunities for violence. Whenever you expend a Ki point to use Step of the Wind, you can make an Unarmed Strike as part of the same bonus action.
Death Match Master
At 11th level you become accustomed to the sight of your own blood. When you are below half your maximum hit points, you can add your Charisma Modifier to attacks with your Unarmed Strikes.
Main Eventer
At 17th level, your presence in larger than life, and you can use it to strike fear into your enemies. As a bonus action you can make a contested Charisma (Performance) check against a target. If you succeed, you gain advantage on all of your attacks against that target for 1 minute, or until you use this feature on a new target.
