The goal of Monks that follow The Way Of The Deep is to become as ferocious and unpredictable as the Ocean itself. They live reclusive lives, travelling across land and sea as swift as a current, Moving wherever the tides take them. This lifestyle can make these monks perfect Seafarers, and guides within treacherous waters. Monks of this tradition make formidable allies when charting new territories.

Monks that follow The Way Of The Deep are known for their incredible speed in combat, they have learned to move swift as a current, but come down with the ferocity of tidal wave. This speed allows them to close the distance in an instant, and unleash a wave of blows in a moment.

Aquatic Adaptation

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Nature skill if you don’t already have it. Your ability to recall lore about terrain, plants and animals, the weather, and natural cycles of the ocean have become a natural part of life. You can now breathe air and water, and you gain a swim speed equal to your walking speed.

Be Like Water

At 3rd level, you learn how to twist and turn quickly as part of your Flurry of Blows. Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, you gain the benefit of the Disengage action, and your speed increases by 10 feet until the end of the current turn.

Riptide

Starting at 6th level, you can use your speed to catch enemies off guard. When you move 30 feet in a straight line and make an attack roll on a creature, that attack has advantage. If the attack is successful, all of your subsequent attacks on this turn also have advantage against that creature.

additionally, you may also use Step of the wind without spending any ki points.

Changing Tides

Starting at 11th level, you can change the tides of War. When you make an ability check, an attack roll, or a saving throw and have disadvantage on the roll, you can spend 2 ki points to cancel the disadvantage for that roll.

Tsunami of Fists

At 17th level, you gain the ability to make an overwhelming number of attacks against a group of enemies. When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can make up to three additional attacks with it (up to a total of five Flurry of Blows attacks), provided that each Flurry of Blows attack targets a different creature this turn.
