Monk
Base Class: Monk

Developed at the Cathedral of Ataraxia, Way of the Loxodon Fist (or Lox Fist as it is colloquially known) is designed for the loxodon body: heavy breaks and sweeping hits to utilize the form of the otherwise peaceful creatures in smooth and effective structure. Channeling their ki, the loxodon can maneuver their bodies in astounding ways. Few non-loxodons are taught the Way of the Loxodon Fist, but those who are can use their teachings to bring added power to their movements.

Sweeping Trunk Technique

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, the loxodon channels its ki into its mighty trunk, using it as a formidable weapon. Those not blessed with a trunk need not worry: the ki channeled will form a trunk for attack. Whenever you hit a creature with the Sweeping Trunk Technique, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. Creature takes damage equal to 1d10.
  • It must make a Strength saving throw. If it fails, you can push it up to 15 feet away from you. Creature takes damage equal to 1d10.
  • It is grappled and can’t take reactions or movement until the end of your next turn. Both of your hands remain free for use during this grapple.

Trumpet

At 6th level, with a mighty blast from your trunk (or mouth for the non-trunk-blessed), you can spend 2 ki points to cast shatter. Additional ki points can be spent to increase the spell level of this blast (1 additional ki points at levels 5-8. 2 additional points at levels 9-12, 3 additional points at levels 13-16, 4 additional points at levels 17-20)

Protect the Herd

Beginning at 11th level, you can spend 4 ki points to cast stoneskin, targeting yourself and one other target that you can touch.

Stampeding Fury

The calm demeanor of the Loxodon is gone. At 17th level, you gain the ability to make an overwhelming number of attacks against a group of enemies. When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can make up to three additional attacks with it (up to a total of five Flurry of Blows attacks), provided that each Flurry of Blows attack targets a different creature this turn. Additionally, you gain the Charger feat.

Charger

When you use your action to Dash, you can use a bonus action to make one melee weapon attack or to shove a creature.

  • If you move at least 10 feet in a straight line immediately before taking this bonus action, you either gain a +5 bonus to the attack's damage roll (if you chose to make a melee attack and hit) or push the target up to 10 feet away from you (if you chose to shove and you succeed).
