Base Class: Monk
These monks learn how to manipulate the space around them, particularly their blades, with their sheer willpower alone.
Chosen Weapon
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your special martial arts training leads you on the path to master the use your weapon using your latent ability to manipulate material and space.
Chosen Weapon. Choose a type of weapon to be honed with your willpower. You gain proficiency with this weapons type if you don’t already have it. Weapons of the chosen types are monk weapons for you. Many of this tradition’s features work only with your chosen weapon. When holding a will-powered blade, you can use a bonus action to invoke one of the following stances. The stances last for one minute and only one stance can be used at any given time.
Offensive Stance. If you are holding your chosen weapon, you gain additional damage to melee attacks equal to half your remaining Ki points.
Defensive Stance. If you are holding your chosen weapon, you can use it to defend yourself. You gain a bonus to AC equal to half your remaining Ki points while the weapon is in your hand and you aren’t incapacitated.
Refined Blade
At 6th level, you extend your ki into your kensei weapons, granting you the following benefits.
Magic Chosen Weapons. Your attacks with your chosen weapons count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.
Sharpened Strike. When you hit a target with a chosen weapon, you can spend 1 ki point to cause the weapon to deal extra damage to the target equal to your Martial Arts die. You can use this feature only once on each of your turns.
Weapon Array
At 11th level, you gain the ability to manifest copies of your chosen weapon with your Ki. As an action, you can expend up to 3 ki points to target a space within 60 feet, each creature within a 10 meter radius of the chosen space must make a Dexterity Saving throw against your Ki Save DC. Targets suffer the damage type of your chosen weapon equal to 3d6 + your Wisdom modifier. Successful saving throws take half damage.
Manipulating Space
At 17th level, your mastery of weapons grants you control over the space between your blade and your target. If you miss with an attack roll using your chosen weapon on your turn, you can reroll it. You can use this feature only once on each of your turns.
