Monk
Base Class: Monk

Most monks are serious and devoted to peace and never wanting to start any trouble, taking most of their childhood to study and perfect their art. The Monks of Wukong's teaching however are nothing like that. These Monks are tricksters, pranksters, and just love a good laugh whether it be at their own expense or others. You'll typically find these monks on roof tops to see the chaos they have created. However, even though the Monks are tricksters and will cause chaos they are always peaceful, why fight when you can make someone laugh? Just like every monk they will leave violence as a last result. Mind you these monks tend to find that result faster than any other but they will always try and get out of the punishment they have created.

Kings Quirks

Starting at 3rd level when you choose the Way of Wukong's teachings you gain proficiency in both Deception and Performance.

You also get advantage (slight of hand) when attempting to pick locks and to pull pranks.

Monkey Staff

Starting at 3rd level all staffs also gain the Finesse  and will now deal 1d8 (1d10 versatile) damage.

You can also expend a certain amount of Ki points to use some abilities.

Monkey's Reaction (1 Ki point): As a reaction you can use your staff to avoid an incoming melee attack. The enemy will have disadvantage on you for their first attack. If you use this reaction to leave their reach it can still trigger an opportunity attack.

Returning Staff (1 Ki point): if your staff is within 100ft of you and you can see it then you can use a bonus action to summon the staff back to your hand. Anyone holding onto the staff must make a strength DC of 10 + Wis Modifier or either let go of it or fly along with the staff.

Growing Staff (2 Ki points): As a bonus action you can magically grow your staff an extra 15ft (20ft total length). If you choose the attack action you will gain disadvantage to hit (you must be holding at least 5ft of the staff in order to attack). Additionally if you were to plant this in the ground you are able to climb up this staff and balance at the top with a successful DC12 Acrobatics OR Athletics check (Your choice). The staff will remain like this for 5 minutes or until you retract it as a bonus action.

The Kings Strength (3 Ki points): Upon a successful hit you can choose to spend 3 ki points to deal an extra 1d6 force damage (1d8 at 6th level, 1d10 at 11th level, 1d12 at 17th level). Additionally you can spend any multiple of 3 Ki points in order to add another dice. Example, spending 6 Ki points will deal an extra 2d6 force damage at level 6, OR, Spending 9 Ki points at level 9 will deal an extra 3d8 force damage.

Tools of a Trickster

Starting at 6th level you gain powers that Sun Wukong himself was able to use

Outside of Body (2 Ki points): Using an action to take a hair off of your body and imbuing it with your Ki you are able to make a replicate of yourself. Almost identical to you, but people can figure out that it's fake with a Perception check DC15, you can see whatever your replicate sees, hear what it hears and also talk through it. Also your replicate can fight along side of you. It'll have half your health, disadvantage on attack rolls, it can deal the same damage as you but only you or your replicate can use any monk abilities. Your replicate cannot be healed. Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you take a short or long rest.

72 Transformations: By using an action you can use a certain amount of Ki points you can transform yourself into an animal on the chart below adopting all of it's stats. You can revert to your normal form as an action. If you drop to 0 hit points in this form you will revert back to your normal form with half your health.
