Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

This subclass will lean into the split nature of his soul, the dichotomy between his rage and regret, and his desire for vengeance.

Vengeance Unleashed

Meramac's drive for vengeance fuels him. When he is reduced to half his hit points or lower, he gains a bonus to his attack rolls and damage rolls equal to his proficiency bonus. His critical hit range expands by 1 (i.e., he can crit on a 19-20).
{{scalevalue}}-20.

Additionally, when an enemy deals damage to Meramac, he can mark them as his "Prey." For the next minute, he gains advantage on attack rolls against them. He can use this feature a number of times equal to his Constitution modifier per long rest.

Soul Split

Meramac can tap into his fractured soul, splitting his physical form into two mirrored versions. As a bonus action, he can summon an echo of himself that lasts for 1 minute. The echo has half of his hit points and shares his actions, attacks, and movement. You and your echo can coordinate attacks, gaining advantage on attacks when you both attack the same target in the same round. The echo disappears if reduced to 0 HP or if the duration ends.

Once Meramac uses this feature, he can't use it again until he finishes a short rest.

Hardened Resolve

Having survived death, betrayal, and personal turmoil, Meramac becomes resistant to mental attacks. He gains advantage on saving throws against being charmed, frightened, or possessed. Additionally, he has advantage on death saving throws. Revenant's Endurance: Meramac also gains the ability to push through life-threatening situations. When reduced to 0 hit points, he can drop to 1 hit point instead. He can use this feature once per long rest.

Wrath of the Broken

Meramac can channel the full might of his fury when targeting his Prey. Once per turn, when you attack your Prey, you gain the following benefits:

  • Extra Attack: You can make two additional attacks (total of three).
  • Devastating Strikes: Each attack against your Prey deals an additional 2d10 necrotic damage, and all critical hits deal triple damage instead of double.
  • Lifeblood Absorption: If your Prey dies while marked, you regain hit points equal to twice your Fighter level + Constitution modifier.
  • You can use this feature once per short or long rest

Dual Fates

Y

Meramac’s mastery over his fractured soul allows him to fully split his being into two independent entities:

  • As a bonus action, Meramac creates a perfect duplicate of himself for 1 minute.
    • Independent Actions: Both Meramac and his duplicate act fully independently, taking separate actions, bonus actions, and reactions.
    • Shared Hit Points: They share the same pool of hit points. Damage taken by either is subtracted from the same pool.
    • Synced Fury: While both you and your duplicate are attacking the same creature, both forms gain advantage on attack rolls, and each attack deals an additional 3d12 necrotic damage.
    • Mimicked Fury: Any damage done by one is reflected by the other to a separate target (within 30 feet).
  • Drawbacks: After the minute ends, you gain 3 levels of exhaustion.
  • Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you complete a long rest.
