Base Class: Fighter

The Hero, in many tales, is nothing particularly special. Their true power is the allies that fight along with them, and that they inspire to do great things. The ability to bring out the greatness of others is, of course, its own remarkable gift. It is for this gift that these special people are granted the grand title of Hero.

You also regain one Deed whenever you defeat a hostile creature.

Your presence on the battlefield bolsters the resolve of those who fight alongside you. As a bonus action, you may consume a Heroic Deed and choose a number of creatures you can see within 30 feet of you up to your Proficiency bonus. You and those creatures gain a bonus to attack and damage rolls equal to the number of allied creatures within 30 feet of you. This bonus lasts until the start of your next turn.

Until the start of your next turn, you and those creatures gain 5 feet of additional movement speed for every allied creature within 30 feet of you. Your newfound speed allows you to perform selfless acts to protect your party. If a creature within 30 feet of you is reduced to zero hit points, you may use your reaction to drop to zero hit points instead.

If you do, the creature's hit points become your hit point amount prior to dropping to zero. If the creature would gain hit points in excess of their hit point maximum, they gain temporary hit points equal to the difference. When you use this feature, you gain one Heroic Deed and one level of exhaustion.
