Harmonic Initiate
As your musical talents flourish, you begin to hone your skills with a chosen instrument. Choose one type of instrument you are proficient with (Percussion, Wind, or Strings). You gain expertise with that instrument, allowing you to add double your proficiency bonus to any ability check that involves playing it. Though not yet a master, your skill with the instrument marks you as a budding virtuoso, blending music and magic seamlessly.

Melodic Journeyman
You choose one of the three instrument types you specialize in: Percussion, Strings, or Wind. Each instrument type grants you unique bonuses when casting spells using your Bardic Inspiration.

Percussion Instruments: When you cast a spell that deals damage, you can roll your Bardic Inspiration die and add the result to the damage dealt of the spell.

String Instruments: Whenever you cast a spell that heals or grants temporary hit points, you can add your Bardic Inspiration die to the amount healed or the temporary hit points granted.

Wind Instruments: When a creature rolls a saving throw against one of your spells, you can roll your Bardic Inspiration die and subtract the result from their saving throw.
Percussion Instrument
Percussion instruments create powerful, rhythmic sounds that enhance the impact of damaging spells.
String Instruments
Strings instruments produce soothing melodies that bolster healing spells and grant temporary vitality.
Wind Instruments
Wind instruments evoke haunting tones that disrupt foes' defenses and weaken their resolve against your spells.

At 14th level, your mastery over your chosen instrument type enhances your magical abilities. Choose one of the following options:

Percussion Instruments
Your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to your Bard level. -
String Instruments
Whenever you cast a spell that recovers hitpoints, you can add both your proficiency bonus and your expertise bonus with string instruments to the total amount healed. -
Wind Instruments
When a creature is subjected to a saving throw from one of your spells, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage on their roll.
