Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

When you choose this subclass, you might bind yourself to a Fate Hag, The Fates themselves, or other mysterious forces of destiny that have need of an agent   These beings are masters of life and death, keepers of the great Epic of History.  And they will put their own players on the board to deal the blows that ensure everyone is playing the part written for them.

Expanded Spell List

The Fated lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Undying Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1st command, heroism
2nd augury, web
3rd bestow curse, revivify
4th compulsion, death ward
5th geas, legend lore

Hand of Fate

Starting at 3rd level, you gain a glimpse of fate. Whenever you finish a Long Rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any D20 Test made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these fated rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.

Each fated roll can be used only once. When you finish a Long Rest, you lose any unused fated rolls.

Fate of Legends

Starting at 6th level, you can reach out to your patron to learn the backstory of a fated object or creature.  Once every 7 days, you can attempt to cast the legend lore with no material components. When you attempt to do so, roll a percentage die.  If the result equals less than 5 times your Warlock level, the attempt results in a successful casting of the spell.  On a failure, no knowledge is gained.  Success or failure, this feature cannot be used again for 7 days.

Escape Fate

Beginning at 10th level, you become unwilling to accept the fate of death.  Once per long rest, when an attack or effect would bring you to 0HP, you may use your reaction to teleport 30 feet without taking the damage.

Make Your Own Fate

At 14th level, when using the Fate rolls from your Hand of Fate feature, you may reroll the D20 and choose whether to use the new roll, or to assign the result originally rolled.
