Myrmidons are warriors of unparalleled discipline, blending martial skill with tactical brilliance. Whether standing shoulder-to-shoulder with allies or striking down foes with calculated precision, they embody the strength of unity and the art of controlled warfare. In the ever-shifting conflicts of Aetheris, Myrmidons are both protectors and tacticians, capable of turning the tide of battle with their unwavering resolve and strategic insight. Myrmidon Features

Level 3: Bonded Tactics
You gain the ability to seamlessly coordinate with your allies, enhancing the group's effectiveness in battle. As a bonus action, you can choose a creature within 30 feet that can see or hear you. Until the start of your next turn, you and that creature gain the following benefits:

  • When one of you makes a melee weapon attack against a creature, the other can use their reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the same creature.
  • If either of you takes damage, the other can use their reaction to impose disadvantage on the triggering attack roll.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses after a long rest.

Level 7: Adaptive Formation
Your understanding of battlefield dynamics allows you to adapt to any combat situation. As a reaction when an ally within 10 feet of you is hit by an attack, you can move up to 10 feet toward them without provoking opportunity attacks and impose disadvantage on the attack roll.

Additionally, you and friendly creatures within 10 feet of you gain a bonus to saving throws against being frightened or charmed equal to your proficiency bonus.

Level 10: Precision Assault
You have honed your strikes to exploit openings in your enemies' defenses. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can deal additional damage equal to your Fighter level.

If you are within 5 feet of an ally who also hits the same target before the end of your turn, you and your ally gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.

Level 15: Aegis of Unity
Your presence inspires your allies to hold the line in even the direst circumstances. As an action, you can create a protective aura with a 15-foot radius centered on you for 1 minute. While in this aura, allies gain the following benefits:

  • They have resistance to all damage.
  • Their movement speed cannot be reduced below 10 feet.
  • They can add your proficiency bonus to their damage rolls.

Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.

Level 18: Battle Dominance
Your mastery of martial tactics allows you to control the flow of combat with unmatched precision. When you take the Attack action, you can forgo one of your attacks to use the Help action or impose disadvantage on all attack rolls made by a creature within your reach until the start of your next turn.

Additionally, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can immediately grant an ally within 30 feet of you an attack as a reaction.

Myrmidons in Aetheris

Myrmidons are often found serving as battlefield tacticians, generals, or champions in the fractured realms of Aetheris. Their ability to unify allies and shift the tides of battle makes them invaluable in conflicts ranging from large-scale wars to skirmishes in the wilds. Many Myrmidons hail from ancient warrior orders, such as the Brotherhood of the Adamant Shield or the Eternal Phalanx, whose teachings emphasize the strength found in unity and precision. Others carve their paths as independent mercenaries, their martial expertise revered and feared in equal measure.

In the volatile world of Aetheris, where alliances shift and conflict looms, a Myrmidon is a symbol of unwavering strength and tactical genius.
