Bard
Base Class: Bard

Level 3: Master of Plants

Your connection to nature’s magic begins to bloom, granting you a special bond with plants and the ability to harness their secrets.

  • You learn the druidcraft cantrip, a spell that lets you perform small, magical effects tied to nature—like predicting the weather, sprouting buds, or creating harmless sensory effects. This cantrip doesn’t count against the number of bard cantrips you know.
  • Starting at 3rd level, you can cast the locate animals or plants spell (targeting only plants) once per long rest, letting you find specific plants within a certain range—like the elusive herb you’ve been searching for.
  • At 5th level, you can cast speak with plants once per long rest, allowing you to have full-on conversations with plants to gather their wisdom or persuade them to help you.

Level 3: Smoking Implements

3rd-Level College of Dank Feature

Magic is everywhere, but you know the real magic comes from the tools you use to enjoy life’s greenery. You can use any of the following as a spellcasting focus for your bard spells: a bong, pipe, roach clip, pack of papers, rolling tray, or other smoking paraphernalia. These tools not only reflect your lifestyle but also show that even the simplest items can carry incredible magic.

Dank Cloud

3rd-Level College of Dank Feature

You’re a master of creating hazy distractions, and your Dank Cloud is as iconic as it is effective. Once per long rest, you can cast fog cloud without expending a spell slot. This spell creates a thick, obscuring fog that blocks vision for everyone caught inside.

However, when you cast it using this feature, you can choose a number of creatures equal to your proficiency bonus (including yourself) who can see through the fog as if it weren’t there. This makes your Dank Cloud perfect for ambushes, quick escapes, or turning the tide of battle.

You can use this ability again by expending a spell slot of 2nd level or higher. If you cast fog cloud at 3rd level or higher, the radius of the cloud increases by 5 feet for each level above 2nd.

Level 6: Smoking Circle

6th-Level College of Dank Feature

The bond of a smoking circle is stronger than most realize, and through this connection, you can share knowledge and skills with those who join you. By taking 10 minutes to perform a ritual involving your smoking implements, you and your circle (up to a number of participants equal to your proficiency bonus) temporarily gain a shared talent.

Choose one skill or tool proficiency possessed by someone in the circle. Each participant gains the proficiency in that skill or tool for the next 8 hours. This ability highlights the shared vibes and mutual understanding that come from a good session. *Each participant must choose the same skill or tool proficiency.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.

Level 6: Dankest of Clouds

6th-Level College of Dank Feature

Your Dank Cloud gains a potent new edge, mixing calming vibes with chaotic results. When you cast Dank Cloud using your once-per-long-rest feature, it now also functions as a stinking cloud. This variation causes creatures caught inside to make Constitution saving throws or spend their turns laughing and coughing.

The stinking cloud version can only be recast using a spell slot of 4th level or higher. Additionally, every level of upcasting (for either fog cloud or stinking cloud) increases the radius of the cloud by 5 feet for each level above the spell’s base.

Bardic Inspiration: Calming Cloud

6th-Level College of Dank Feature

Your Bardic Inspiration hits different—it’s not just a pick-me-up; it’s a full-on chill-out. When you hand someone a dose of your magical vibes, it’s like the universe itself is telling them to relax. Friends feel their worries melt away, and even your enemies can’t help but take a deep breath and mellow out (though they might fight it, poor souls). No concentration required—your magic just flows like a perfect hit, leaving nothing but good vibes in its wake.

Your Bardic Inspiration doesn’t just inspire—it mellows out the mood. When you grant a creature Bardic Inspiration, you can also cast calm emotions on them without requiring concentration. This feature combines your bardic charm with a little natural relaxation magic, spreading good vibes even in the heat of battle.

  • If the target is an enemy, they must make a Charisma saving throw. Roll your Bardic Inspiration die and subtract it from their save, making it harder for them to resist the spell’s effects.
  • If the target is an ally, they gain the benefits of calm emotions automatically when they receive your inspiration, letting them shake off harmful effects or stress.

Level 14: High Tolerance

14th-Level College of Dank Feature

You gain resistance to poison damage and psychic damage. Additionally, you have advantage on Constitution and Wisdom saving throws, reflecting your heightened fortitude and clarity.

Your connection to the magical haze of your Dank Cloud grows stronger as well. When you finish a short rest, you regain your use of the Dank Cloud feature, allowing you to spread its vibes more often and turn even the shortest downtime into an opportunity to recharge.
