Base Class: Monk
Those who train in this monastic tradition aim to harness their ki to create life. They can form mystical copies of themselves made of ki to help them control the battlefield.
Ethereal Summoning
At 3rd level when you choose this archetype, you gain the ability to summon an aether twin. This twin is a mystical copy of yourself and is has a soft neon glow emanating from them that easily distinguishes them from you are present. You can summon a twin at a cost of ki equal to your proficiency modifier. The twin stops responding to your orders if it leaves a range of 100ft. from you.
Spectral Imitations
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to begin changing yourself and the world around you . As an action, you can spend 1 ki point to cast either Grease or Silent Image or use 2 ki points to cast Alter Self, without providing material components.
Dance of Reflections
At 6th level you have learnt to move your body mesmerising patterns with your twin, in an attempt to conceal your movements and make unpredictable attacks.
At the start of a turn you may spend a ki point to engage with your twin in a distracting dance against an enemy you are both adjacent to. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw against your save DC. If they fail, they are distracted by the dance, and attacks this creature is rolled at advantage. At the end of each of its turns, and each time it takes damage, the target can make another Wisdom saving throw.
If a creature's saving throw is successful, the creature is immune to the Dance of Reflections for the next minute.
Reactive Twin
At 11th level you have gained greater level of bond with your twin. This bond allows you to spend ki points to allow your twin a greater level of sentience, letting it act without your guidance and react in a more intelligent way during combat.
You can now sense the world through both your twin and yourself simultaneously. You can now have your twin operate up to a range of 500ft away from you.
Your twin can now use reactions as well as actions, and also gains these additional uses for its reaction:
Grapple: If a creature tries to move away while in engaged in combat with your twin, you can use 2 ki points and its reaction to try and grapple the enemy if it is within one size category. The enemy must make a Strength or Dexterity Saving throw against your Save DC. If it fails the save it is held in place by your twin, and needs to take an attack action to reattempt breaking the grapple.
Interpose: If you or an ally are the target of an attack, your twin can use its reaction to move half its movement speed towards them. If it gets between the attacking enemy and the original target, the twin becomes the target of the attack roll. If moving to do so takes up an allies space, they are safely pushed back 5ft behind the twin without provoking an opportunity attack.
Opportunistic Strike: If an enemy creature misses an attack on you or an ally while within melee range of your twin, you may use 1 ki point and its reaction to make an attack against them.
Sentient Creation
At 17th level your skill at using and summoning your aether twin is so advanced that you no longer need to actively focus on them.
Controlling your duplicate no longer requires a bonus action, and is now a free action. Your twin also has the ability to use bonus actions for unarmed strikes, flurry of blows, patient defence and step of the wind.
