Monk
Base Class: Monk

To lose and regain life through the blood sweat and tears of others

Level 3: Blood Tax

You no longer have a Focus Point pool from the Monk class. Uncanny Metabolism and Perfect Focus grant Focus Points equal to your proficiency bonus instead, these Focus Points last until the end of combat. Uncanny Metabolism instead will restore half your hit points.

While you are conscious, only class features, character features, and attuned items can restore your hit points.

On your turn, when you deal damage to a creature with an unarmed strike, you regain hit points equal to half the damage dealt (rounded down).

As a Bonus Action, you can expend one of your Hit Dice, roll the die, and regain a number of Hit Points equal to the roll plus your proficiency bonus.

You may spend Hit Points equal to you proficiency bonus in place of focus points.

Level 6: Pugilist

When calculating monk features based off damage, use damage before calculating vulnerability, resistance, and immunity.

Blood Knuckle : When a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction and expend 2 Focus Points to make a reaction attack against them. If the attack hits, you add half the damage you took from their attack to your attack's damage.

When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with your reaction, you get another reaction.

Prediction : When you roll to hit you can pay 1 focus point, your next attack adds Your proficiency bonus to your roll to hit. This can only be used once per attack.

Level 11: Body of Blood and Steal

Blood Scales : When you take damage, you can spend 1 focus point to half that damage and become resistant to that damage type until the start of your next turn.

Crimson Armour : When you are attacked, you may spend 1 focus point to add your proficiency bonus to your ac until the start of your next turn. This cannot be used again until the start of your next turn.

Forced Circulation : Whenever you fail a saving throw, You may spend 5 focus points to add your Monk level to that roll to succeeded instead.

Level 17: Master of the Crimson Ways.

You may use each of the following once per long rest. They cost 8 focus points and 2 more for each one already active :

 • Overflow : Triple all healing received for the next 10 minutes. After the duration you may no longer use *Blood Tax*.

 • Flurry of Blood : For the next 1 minutes when you land 2 attacks in one turn you may get an extra attack and restart count. After the duration, your movement speed is reduced to 10 and you may no longer use *Pugilist*.

 • Vitals : If your opponent is a living creature, you may make a medicine check against the ac of each opponent. If you succeed, that opponent loses resistance and gains vulnerability to all of your attacks for the next 10 minutes. Any damage you deal to these opponents during this state cannot be healed for the next 24 hours. This affect cannot be negated. This vulnerability overrides pugilist. After the duration you take the blinded condition.

 • Fury Dance : For the next minute, when you heal, your next attack before the end of your next turn will deal that much more damage for the next minute. After the duration your max hp is halved and you can no longer use *Body of Blood and Steal*.

All effects reset after a long rest.
