Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of Stardom are born and bred to be renowned by all for all time. They wield their rigorously refined talent in music and dance to achieve immortalized fame and extravagant fortune. They attain such acclaim and popularity through a legendarily unmatched stage presence that—above all else—flaunts and pronounces their prowess, beauty, fierceness, grace, and character.
To thrill an audience and to, in turn, receive their adulation are the aspirations of these sensational performers. They therefore tour the realm often and with grandiose grandeur. To deliver to all peoples the joy that their illustrious presence brings, and to etch their names into history, eternal. That they may be an everlasting star. One whose light will be celebrated—in awe—until the end of creation.
Level 3: Luxurious Privileges
You gain the following benefits:
Ambitious Perfectionist. Whenever you make a Charisma (Intimidation, Performance, or Persuasion) check or a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check, you gain a +1d4 bonus to the check. If the check is made while you have the attention of a sizeable audience of humanoids or if the check involves you utilizing the influence of your fame (if any), you also make it with Advantage.
Effortless Finesse. You gain proficiency in using the following weapons: Longbows, Rapiers, Scimitars, and Whips. Moreover, you can use a Simple or Martial weapon as a Spellcasting Focus to cast spells from your Bard spell list, so long as it is a Longbow, a Shortbow, or a melee weapon with the Finesse property.
Fabulous Wardrobe. With no action required, you can create an illusion that replicates the effect of the Disguise Self spell. However, this illusion is purely cosmetic and cannot be used as a disguise. It therefore cannot conceal your face to the point of being unrecognizable and you can only alter one or more of the following aspects of your appearance: Your hair, your eyes, your makeup, or your attire.
Unarmored Defense. Your base Armor Class is equal to the following value if you aren’t wearing armor or wielding a Shield:10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.
Level 3: Graceful Gambol
As a bonus action, you can expend a use of Bardic Inspiration to take the Dash or Dodge action. Upon doing so, your movements do not provoke Opportunity Attacks from enemies until the start of your next turn.
Level 6: Phenomenal Flexibility
When you use your "Graceful Gambol" feature, you gain one of the following additional benefits of your choice until the start of your next turn:
- When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw and only half damage if you fail. You cannot use this benefit if you have the Incapacitated condition.
- You can make one weapon attack before the end of your turn (no action required). For this weapon attack, you can use your Charisma for the attack and damage rolls, instead of your Strength or Dexterity.
- You gain the effects of the Jump and Feather Fall spells.
Level 6: Ovation of Adulation
Immediately after you complete a performative act of one minute or longer, you can target any number of humanoid creatures of your choice that you can see within 120 ft. of you (no action required). You can only target those who have seen the act in full. Upon doing so, your targets are forced to make a Wisdom saving throw. Upon succeeding, a creature is unaffected by this feature and has no hint that you tried to affect it. Upon failing, a creature has the Charmed condition for up to one hour, with you as the source of its affection. While a Charmed in this way, it idolizes you and speaks glowingly of you to anyone it talks to. It remains Charmed until you give it any reason to become indifferent or hostile towards you or until you end the effect (no action required), after which it has no hint that it was affected by this feature.
Moreover, upon using this feature, select one of the targets Charmed by it. This target develops a desire to meet with you and becomes compelled to offer you a gift upon meeting. The gift can come in the form of a generous tip (relative to the target’s wealth), a night of free food and lodging, a favor of your request (within reason), or some other prize or luxury.
Level 14: Splendor of the Superstar
You gain the following additional benefits
Demanding Diva. You always have the Suggestion and Mass Suggestion spells prepared. You can cast each of those spells once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast them in that way when you finish a Long Rest.
Grace Beyond Perfection. When you roll initiative, you can add your Charisma modifier to the roll. Additionally, when you use your "Phenomenal Flexibility" feature, you can expend an additional use of Bardic Inspiration to gain all three of its benefits until the start of your next turn, instead of only one.
