Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Brawlers are fighters with either no official training, or people that have been trained by someone who was never officially trained.

They use their unconventional attacks and moves to throw their opponents off rhythm. A brawler is a professional fighter's worst nightmare. An unpredictable, rowdy opponent, with just enough knowledge and awareness to be dangerous.

Level 3: Brawler's Strikes

Your unarmed attacks deal 1d6 + your strength or dexterity modifier bludgeoning damage instead of whatever other damage they would deal.

This damage dice increases to 1d8 at 5th level, 1d10 at 10th level, and 1d12 at 18th level.

Level 3: Improvised Fighting

You gain proficiency with improvised weapons. Improvised weapon attacks count as unarmed attacks for you for the purposes of attack and damage rolls.

Level 3: Brawler's Moveset

Your rough style of fighting has earned you several unarmed brawler's moves you can use on opponents.

Brawler Moves. You learn two brawler moves of your choice. Some moves may enhance an attack. Only one move may be used per attack.

Brawl Points. You must expend a brawl point in order to use a brawl move.

You have a number of brawl points equal to three times your proficiency bonus and regain all of them on a long rest.

You learn one additional move of your choice when you reach Fighter levels 7, 11, 15, and 19.

Saving Throws. If a move requires a saving throw, the DC equals 8 plus your Strength or Dexterity modifier (your choice) and Proficiency Bonus.

Level 7: Mover and a Shaker

You don't expend extra movement when dragging creatures you have grappled.

Additionally, once per turn you may move a creature you have grappled to another unoccupied spot within 5 ft of yourself without expending additional movement.

Level 10: Improved Strikes

Your Brawler's Strike damage dice becomes a d10

Level 15: Master of Moves

When you make an attack roll, you can apply two applicable Brawler Moves to the attack instead of one.

Additionally, if you roll initiative and have no remaining brawl points, you regain brawl points equal to your proficiency bonus.

Level 18: Ultimate Strikes

Your Brawler's Strike damage dice becomes a d12

Brawler Moves

The moves are presented here in no particular order.

Smackdown

The Grabber

When you hit a creature with an attack roll, you can expend one Superiority Die to attempt to goad the target into attacking you. Add the Superiority Die to the attack’s damage roll. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be Grappled by you.
