Bard
Base Class: Bard

Food can absolutely change the hearts of many. Most living things need to eat, sometimes practically driven by pure hunger. If that quota is not satiated, it can drive the most self controlled individuals back into a primal state. But fortunately, there are several crafty folk who have mastered the school of the culinary arts. By adopting the title of chef, you possess the creativity and adaptability to make food that is truly special. In an adventuring group, there is nothing quite like a nice meal to lighten the spirits of anyone who accepts your food. Adventuring is hard work after all, and when you have people from all across different lands, nothing beats a comfort food from someone’s hometown.

So arm yourself with culinary supplies and prepare the best ingredients for dishes no creature across the land is ready for. Create feasts that can unite cultures and snacks that pacify the most crazed individuals. Because the best works of art are those that can inspire and awe. Except with yours is that you can eat it!

Tool Proficiency. You gain proficiency with Cooking Utensils if you don’t already have it.

Kitchen Weapon. In addition, you can treat your cooking utensils as Simple Melee Weapons. It has the Finesse, Light, and Thrown properties (Range 20/60). It deals 2d4 of a damage type of your choice: Bludgeoning, Fire, Piercing, or Slashing. You may use your Charisma instead of Strength or Dexterity as your ability modifier for attack and damage rolls made with this weapon. This damage increases to 2d6 when you reach 14th level in this class.

Gourmet Magic

6th-level College of Kitchens feature

You have the ability to use your innate magic to summon nourishing food. You always have Purify Food and Drink and Create Food and Water prepared. The spells count as Bard spells for you but don't count against the number of Bard spells you know.

When you cast these spells, the food becomes otherworldly delicious. Any creature that consumes the food and drinks affected or produced by these spells regains the maximum number of Hit Points it rolls on Hit Point Dice within the next hour, removes all Exhaustion, and is given enough nourishment to sustain itself for one day.

Effected creatures cannot benefit from this feature again until it finishes a Long rest.

Allergy Exploit

6th-level College of Kitchens feature

You know of recipes that can adversely affect certain creatures. When you score a Critical hit a creature with your Cooking Utensils, the creature gains one condition of your choice until the end of your next turn: BlindedPoisoned, or Prone.

Revered Feast

14th-level College of Kitchens feature

You know how to make a meal so grand that it will be remembered for the ages. You always have the Heroes’ Feast spell prepared. It counts as a Bard spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of spells you know. You can also cast it once without using a spell slot or requiring a Material component and regain the ability to do so when you finish a Long rest.
