Base Class: Barbarian
Dragon Bond: Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level you gain a dragon companion, which uses your Proficiency bonus for many of its features. In combat, the dragon shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It can move and use its reaction on its own, but the only action it takes on its turn is the Dodge action, unless you take a bonus action on your tum to command it to take another action. That action can be one in its stat block or some other action. If you are incapacitated the dragon can take any action of its choice. See the Dragon stat block at the end of the Rider Subclasses description.
Your bond with your Dragon allows you to share some of your class features with it. When using the following class features, you can now have them benefit your dragon.

-Reckless Attack
Spellcasting: At 3rd level you gain the ability to cast spells. You follow the Eldritch Knight spellcasting progression, but cast spells as a Sorcerer does, and use Charisma as your casting stat. You learn spells from the Sorcerer spell list. You can cast Sorcerer spells while raging but cannot concentrate on them.
Dragon Growth: At 6th level Your dragon grows to medium size and gains a flying speed equal to its movement speed. If you are Medium or smaller size, you can mount your dragon, which reduces its fly speed by 10 feet. Your Dragons bite attack deals an extra 1d6 fire damage, and it's attacks count as magical for overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical damage.
Dragon's Rage: Beginning at 6th level your Dragon grows stronger and empowers your rage. While raging, you may choose for the rage damage to deal Fire damage instead of he standard weapon damage. Additionally, your dragon grows to medium size and gains a flying speed equal to its movement speed. If you are Medium or smaller size, you can mount your dragon, which reduces its fly speed by 10 feet. Your Dragons bite attacks count as magical for overcoming resistance and immunity to non-magical damage.
Fire Breath: At 10th level, your Dragon matures enough to breathe fire in a 30ft cone or a 60 foot line. Each creature in the area of effect must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest,
unless you expend a spell slot of 3rd level or higher to use it
Prime Dragon: At 14th level your Dragon grows to large size. It's bite deals an extra 1d6 fire damage (for 2d6 total additional fire damage) and up to 3 medium or smaller creatures can now ride it at the same time without reducing its fly speed Your Dragon can now disgorge its Eldunari during the course of a short or long rest, creating an Eldunari. See the Magic Item section for rules on Eldunari.

Level 6: Mindless Rage
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Level 10: Intimidating presence
Beginning at 10th level, you can use your action to frighten someone with your menacing presence. When you do so, choose one creature that you can see within 30 feet of you. If the creature can see or hear you, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. On subsequent turns, you can use your action to extend the duration of this effect on the frightened creature until the end of your next turn. This effect ends if the creature ends its turn out of line of sight or more than 60 feet away from you.
If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.
Level 10: Fire Breath
At 10th level, your Dragon matures enough to breathe fire in a 30ft cone or a 60 foot line. Each creature in the area of effect must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Once you use this feature, you can't do so again until you finish a Short rest, unless you expend a spell slot of 3rd level or higher to use it again.
Ability upgrade: At level 10 add 6 damage die, (14d6)
Level 14: Prime Dragon
At 14th level, your Dragon grows to large size. Up to 3 medium or smaller creatures can now ride it at the same time without reducing its fly speed. Your Dragon can now disgorge its Eldunari during the course of a short or long rest, creating an Eldunari. See the Magic Item section for rules on Eldunari.
Level 14: Retaliation
Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.
