Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

An Assassin's training focuses on using stealth, poison, and disguise to eliminate foes with deadly efficiency. While some Rogues who follow this path are hired killers, spies, or bounty hunters, the capabilities of this subclass are equally useful for adventurers facing a variety of monstrous enemies.

Preparing the Victim (3rd level)

You can use your bonus action to place a Mark of the Victim on a target within 60 feet that you can see. If you are hidden from the target when you apply the mark, this action does not reveal your position. You can stack multiple Marks of the Victim on a single target, up to a maximum equal to your Dexterity modifier (minimum of 1). However, you can only mark one target at a time—placing a mark on a new target, becoming unconscious, or attacking to the target removes all previous marks from the original one.

Assassinate (3rd level)

Whenever you hit a target with your Sneak Attack and it has at least one Mark of the Victim, it takes additional damage equal to half of your Sneak Attack damage roll for each Mark it has. Additionally, the target gains Wounds equal to your proficiency bonus for each Mark of the Victim it possesses. A Wounded target suffers a penalty to its saving throws equal to the number of Wounds it has. At the start of each of its turns, it recovers from one Wound. Alternatively, the target can use its action to make a Medicine check against your Cunning Strike DC, removing all Wound stacks on a success.

Emergency Tactics (9th level)

You can use your sneak attack feature twice per a round, rather than once if you are bloodied. And also whenever you use the Uncanny Dodge class feature, you can also become hidden if there are no hostile creatures within 15 feet of you.

No Witnesses (13th level)

Once per turn, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can immediately make one additional weapon attack as a free action, using any weapon you possess that is within range. If this extra attack qualifies for Sneak Attack, the target also gains a number of Wounds equal to half your Sneak Attack dice (rounded up).

Professional Assassination (17th level)

The first time you hit a creature with a Sneak Attack while hidden, the attack is treated as a critical hit. If that attack reduces the target to 0 hit points, you remain hidden.
