Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Dinky weapons no longer cut it. Your lance does little to bother a dragon in flight. You yearn for a colossal unholy matrimony of range, melee, and defence to slay beasts magnitudes larger than your speck of a footprint. It's heavy, it's clunky, but when it connects, it's devastating.

The Gunlance

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with gunlances.

Shells

Starting at level 3, during a long rest, you can craft a number of shells equal to your proficiency plus your intelligence modifier, expending one horn of gunpowder and 3gp worth of scrap metal to create a 5lb shell. You may double your yield by expending the action surge you would have gained during the long rest. During a short rest, you can craft a number of shells equal to your intelligence modifier, expending one horn of gunpowder and 3gp worth of scrap metal to create a 5lb shell. You may double your yield by expending the action surge you would have gained during the short rest. A crafted shell becomes inert during a long rest but can be reactivated by recrafting the shell at no material cost. When you craft a shell, choose hollow, piercing, or buckshot.

Self Synergism

Starting at 7th level, while wielding a gunlance for each melee weapon attack you hit with this gunlance against a creature, you may deal an additional 1d6 piercing damage to a maximum of 5d6 piercing damage to your next melee weapon attack until you target a different creature, you move, or you miss.

Perfected Balance

Starting at 10th level, while donning a gunlance, you may gain 2 levels of exhaustion instead of 3.

Wyvern Shot

Starting at 15th level, during a long rest, in addition to your shells, you can craft a wyvern shot, expending one horn of gunpowder and 10gp worth of scrap metal to create a 10lb wyvern shot. You may double your yield by expending the action surge you would have gained during the long rest. During a short rest, you can craft a wyvern shot instead of shells, expending one horn of gunpowder and 10gp worth of scrap metal to create a 10lb shell. You may double your yield by expending the action surge you would have gained during the short rest. A crafted wyvern shot becomes inert during a long rest but can be reactivated by recrafting the shell at no material cost. When you craft a shell, choose Steak or Breath.

Point Blank

Starting at 18th level, when you cause a creature within 5 feet to make a saving throw against a wyvern shot, they fail that saving throw.
