Base Class: Fighter

The Weapon Collector finds rare and well-crafted weapons of a specific type (I.E., Swords, Hammers, Spears, etc.). This obsession, with great training and discipline, can bring a fighter versatility in the number of weapons they use. The unfortunate outcome of this limits the fighter only to be able to apply their specialty to that specific weapon type. However, as they collect, their ability to use more of the selected type and mastery over that type grants them a near-unparalleled combative skill. The number of weapons you can keep stowed for this archetype is equal to half your fighter level, rounded down.

Level 3: Weapons Abound

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn to throw the weapons of the selected type like you would any other thrown weapon. Add the "Thrown" affix to any weapons wielded of the chosen type. These have a range of 20/60 unless they already have a further thrown range.. You can choose to throw one or a container of multiple of the selected weapon type in a single attack action, up to your total weapon collector amount. Each weapon deployed this way may only hit one target and you cannot hit the same target twice. Any remaining weapons will be scattered within the throwing range.

Level 3: Weapons Quickdraw

At 3rd level, handling your selected weapon type is second nature to you, like using a part of your body. You can draw/stow a weapon of the selected type as a free action.

Level 7: Weapons Lore

At 7th level, your knowledge of your selected weapon type is rivaled by the most knowledgeable historians. You gain the ability to cast Identify at-will on the selected weapon type.

Weapon Aerodynamics

At 7th level, you learn the aerodynamic properties of your select weapon type. Your thrown range for this weapon type is now 30/120.

Level 10: Weapons Versatility

You may use weapons you pick up after being thrown to perform Battle Master maneuvers once per turn. Your superiority dice for these maneuvers is a d6.

Level 15: Weapons Edge

Your attack rolls with the selected weapon type can now score a crit on a 19 or higher, and your thrown range is extended to 40/120.

Level 18: Weapons Savant

Starting at 18th level, when you deploy your weapons, you may attack the same creature with as few or as many of the number available from your weapon collector subclass. 

When you use your action surge, you gain the benefits of dash, dodge, you do not provoke opportunity attacks for the rest of that turn, and picking up one of the weapons of your selected type does not use your object interaction for the turn.
