Base Class: Bard
Members of the College of Vibes are always lost in their own music — whether or not anyone else can hear it. They don’t command audiences like typical performers; instead, they move through the world in perfect sync with their personal soundtrack. Their strange rhythm keeps them out of danger, bolsters allies, and leaves enemies struggling to keep up.
Level 3: Always in the Groove (3rd level)
You are in constant sync with the music in your head. While you aren’t wearing heavy armor, you gain a +2 bonus to AC. In addition, when an attack misses you, you can use your reaction to move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.
Level 3: Vibe Style
At 3rd level, you choose your Vibe Style. The style you select reflects the music that guides your every move.
Chaotic Noise
Once per short or long rest, when a creature misses you with an attack, it takes thunder damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
Chill Vibes
Once per long rest, you can use your reaction to end the frightened condition on yourself or an ally within 30 feet.
Upbeat Anthem
Allies within 10 feet of you gain a +1 bonus to saving throws while you aren’t incapacitated.
Level 6: Flow State
At 6th level, you’ve learned to fight in rhythm. As a bonus action, you can choose one creature within 30 feet. That creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = your spell save DC) or have disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum once). You regain all uses after a long rest.
Level 14: Eternal Groove
At 14th level, your connection to your inner soundtrack can’t be broken.
- You can’t be surprised while conscious.
- You have advantage on saving throws against being paralyzed or restrained.
- Once per long rest, you can cast Otto’s Irresistible Dance without expending a spell slot.
