Base Class: Fighter
A Swiftblade forgoes their strength prowess in return for fully focusing on improving their agility and swiftness. Swiftblades often times appear to be impatient and fully focused on ending a fight as fast as they can. While not all of them do, some Swiftblades pride themselves on their speed. It is best to be cautious as to not show a greater speedy performance in front of them if you don't wish for them to challenge you for their pride.
Level 3: Alacrity
3rd-level Swiftblade feature
You can tap into bursts of supernatural speed. You have a number of Alacrity points equal to 4. You regain all expended points when you finish a short or long rest. The number of points increases to 8 at 9th level and 12 at 15th level.
When you use Alacrity, you spend 1 point as a bonus action to choose one of the following options:
Dash. You take the Dash action.
Disengage. You take the Disengage action.
Swift Strike. You make one melee weapon attack or unarmed strike against a creature you haven’t hit with an attack this turn. You may not attack that creature again this turn.
15th level improvement. When you choose an option at this level, it gains an additional benefit:
Dash. Your AC increases by 1 until the start of your next turn.
Disengage. Your walking speed increases by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
Swift Strike. You can target any creature with a weapon a melee weapon attack or unarmed strike instead.
Swift Steps
7th-level Swiftblade feature
If you move at least 20 feet immediately before hitting a creature with a melee attack as part of the attack action, choose one:
•Add 1d10 to the attack’s damage roll.
•Push the target up to 15 feet away, if it is no more than one size larger than you.
You can use this feature no more than twice per turn.
Improved Alacrity
10th-level Swiftblade feature
You can spend 3 Alacrity points to cast haste on yourself as an action, without material components.
Evasive Rapidity
15th-level Swiftblade feature
When you succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against an effect that deals half damage on a success, you take no damage. If you fail the saving throw, you take only half damage.
Swiftblade Reflex
18th-level Swiftblade feature
Once per long rest, if you haven’t used Action Surge this turn, you can take an additional turn immediately after your current one. On this extra turn, you can move as normal but may only take the Attack or Dash action, or any bonus actions granted by Alacrity.
