Base Class: Fighter
Tordenskjolds are warriors whose shields are extensions of their fury and strength. Each strike booms like thunder, every bash shakes the battlefield, and allies near them are bolstered by the thunderous presence. Their power grows as they master the shield, culminating in legendary, storm-infused strikes.
Level 3: Shield Bash
You slam your shield into a foe with the force of a rolling thunderclap. The impact can stagger, push, or even knock your enemies prone, creating openings for yourself or your allies. With practiced footwork, you can follow through on the strike, moving across the battlefield without leaving yourself exposed. Each bash carries the fury of storms and the unyielding power of a Tordenskjold.
Level 3: Vahalla’s Wrath
The fury of the gods courses through your strikes. Every attack channels the roar of thunder, crackling with raw power that rends armor and shakes the battlefield. Even blows that would barely stagger a mortal now carry the might of storms, leaving enemies reeling as if struck by the wrath of Valhalla itself.
Cold Damage
The fury of the storm or the bitter chill of the north courses through your strikes. You can imbue your attacks with elemental power, letting each blow carry the force of thunder, the bite of frost, or another fitting elemental energy, wreaking havoc on your enemies.

Level 7: Child of Vahalla
At 5th level, your bond with the gods deepens, imbuing you with their protection and martial skill.
Elemental Resilience. Choose thunder or cold damage. You gain resistance to that damage type.
Cold Damage
Elemental Resilience. Choose thunder or cold damage. You gain resistance to that damage type.
Thunder Resistance
Elemental Resilience. Choose thunder or cold damage. You gain resistance to that damage type.
Level 10: To Vahalla
At 10th level, you call upon the courage and fury of Valhalla itself. For a brief, blazing moment, you become an unstoppable whirlwind of strength and storm.
When you activate this ability, you may choose one of two paths:
Reckless Surge: Your strikes deal increased damage, and you gain immunity to all weapon damage until the start of your next turn — but enemies gain advantage on attacks against you, and you suffer 1 level of exhaustion.
Warrior’s Ascendance: You gain all the benefits of Reckless Surge, plus temporary hit points equal to your level, at the cost of 2 levels of exhaustion.
Level 15: Improved Vahalla’s Wrath
Now your Vahalla’s Wrath deals 2d4 Thunder/Cold instead of 1d4.
Level 18: Avatar of Valhalla
Elemental Immunity. Choose thunder or cold damage. You gain immunity to that damage type.
Unyielding Warrior: You have advantage on death saving throws.
You gain resistance to all nonmagical weapon damage.
Cold Immunity
Elemental Immunity. Choose thunder or cold damage. You gain immunity to that damage type.
Thunder Immunity
Elemental Immunity. Choose thunder or cold damage. You gain immunity to that damage type.
