Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

The Abundance Domain is the realm of wealth, food and plenty, but in a much broader sense it is the domain of simply having enough and being happy with your lot. Clerics that quest in service to such gods provide what others need when they need it most, whether that be feeding the hungry, paying the destitute, or curing the sick.

Whereas Life represents the positive foundation of all existence, Abundance represents the transformative power of gratitude, and of living life well as opposed to simply surviving.

Level 3: Gift of Abundance

During any Long Rest, an Abundance Domain Cleric can fashion a number of Gifts equal to their Wisdom modifier (minimum one). The form of the Gift depends on which god the cleric serves: harvest and food gods expect their priests to prepare portable snacks or drinks, whereas gods of wealth and festivals might deign to bless spare currency or brightly colored ornaments. You may distribute these Gifts to whomever you wish, but they lose all divine potency whenever you craft new Gifts.

Any creature other than the Abundance Domain Cleric may use a Gift as a Bonus Action on their turn. If the cleric that made the Gift is within 100 feet, then that cleric may use their Reaction to cast any beneficial spell upon the Gift bearer that the cleric could normally cast as an Action or Bonus Action. The cleric can also cast spells regardless of their range requirements, as if they were touching the Gift bearer. If the spell would normally affect multiple creatures, such as Bless, then only the Gift bearer is affected. Once used, a Gift loses all of its magical potency and cannot be used this way again. The Abundance Domain Cleric may still cast another spell on their own turn.

The cleric's player has complete control over what spell they choose to cast upon the Gift bearer and at what level they choose to cast it, but the Dungeon Master has the final say over what spells count as "beneficial," depending on the situation. The cleric cannot use this ability to cast spells that they should reasonably expect to harm the Gift bearer.

Level 3: Abundance Domain Spells

Your connection to this divine domain ensures you always have certain spells ready. When you reach a Cleric level specified in the Abundance Domain Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.

Abundance Domain Spells
Cleric Level Prepared Spells
3 Cure WoundsEnhance Ability, Lesser RestorationPurify Food and Drink
5 Aura of Vitality, Create Food and Water
7 Aura of Life, Stoneskin
9 Greater Restoration, Mass Cure Wounds

Level 3: Nourishing Grace

As a Magic action, you present your Holy Symbol and expend a use of your Channel Divinity to nourish the bodies and souls of all nearby creatures. Select a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier, minimum one, within 30 feet. Those creatures remove 1 of their Exhaustion levels. In addition, every creature within 30 feet of you gains enough nourishment to comfortably sustain themselves for 24 hours. Creatures cannot benefit from this effect more than once every 24 hours.

Level 6: Blessing of Gratitude

When using your Gift of Abundance class feature, you may choose to bless allies with spells that would normally only affect you, such as Aura of Vitality. If such spells create an Emanation, then it is centered upon the Gift bearer, not you. You can still only maintain Concentration on one spell at a time.

Gift of Abundance may now be used to cast spells that affect multiple allies, such as Bless, affecting characters within range of either the cleric or the Gift bearer.

Level 17: Moment of Respite

As a Magic Action, you present your Holy Symbol and expend a use of your Channel Divinity to grant yourself and a number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier within 30 feet an instantaneous Short Rest. You may not use this feature again until you have completed a Long Rest.
