Base Class: Monk
In ages past, Wood Elf Druids required the services of bodyguards and traveling companions as they traveled on the diplomatic duties of internal and greater Sylvan politics. While Rangers and Barbarians often served as guides and escorts, the monks of the Way of the Sylvan Hand were adept at following court functions and protocols, as well as for travelling in places were arms and armor were frowned upon. Their martial art is designed to compliment that of a druid companion.

Improved Shillelagh
Whenever you are wielding a weapon which you have cast shillelagh, you gain:
- +2 to AC,
- +1d8 (1d10 Versatile for Quarterstaff) magical bludgeoning damage,
- you need not have a hand free to use your full Deflect Missiles ability.
- You may cast this spell on wooden bludgeoning weapons that are not clubs or quarterstaffs, such as nunchaku, boomerangs, and random sticks on the ground.
The Bonus AC will automatically be added in the character creator. The bonus to damage, however, must be added into the customization option of your Shillelagh spell.
Superior Shillelagh
When casting Shillelagh:
- your melee weapons gain the reach ability
- you melee weapons may be thrown with a range of 20/60 feet
- It gains an extra 1d8 damage (that's 3d8 total, if you count the original casting and Improved Shillelagh).
- You gain additional +2 to AC
- If you spend a ki point, your weapon will return to your grasp as a bonus action.
- You may cast this spell on additional weapon if you spend a ki point. If anyone else uses this weapon, they gain the additional damage and attack bonus, but no AC bonus or reach/throwing properties.
Only the bonus to AC will be added in the character builder. You must add the rest into your notes by customizing your Shillelagh spell.
Completed Shillelagh
By spending one ki point as a bonus action, your shillelagh can act independently of you for that round. It may travel 20 feet per round so long as you concentrate and continue to spend ki points. It uses all of your abilities. Controlling this weapon uses a bonus action and does not count against your total attacks per round.
By spending a ki point, it will return directly to you. If it moves through an enemy square as it flies towards you, they must make a DEX saving throw from your spellcasting DC or take damage from the weapon as if they were hit by you.
