Base Class: Monk
By harnessing and manipulating your life energy you learn various ways to physically manifest it. This allows you to create and unleash abilities that can rival even the most powerful magic.
Astral Arms
At the 3rd level, by focusing your ki, you materialize two astral arms that hover above your shoulders.
- Immediately after you use the Attack action with your astral arms on your turn, you can make one extra attack with your astral arms as a bonus action. The number of extra attacks increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to two at 11th level and three at 17th level.
- The arms are monk weapons and have a reach of 10 feet. The arms deal radiant or necrotic damage (your choice). When you attack with the arms, you can use your Wisdom modifier instead of your Strength or Dexterity modifier for the attack and damage rolls.
Ki Enhancement
At 3rd Level, You can utilize 1 ki point to roll advantage on any strength and dexterity based skill checks. Your mastery of ki has allowed your body to store more life energy. Increase max ki points by wisdom modifier.
Ki Volley
At the 3rd Level you master firing multiple ki blasts in succession.
- They must perform a wisdom saving throw in order to dodge, if fails, deal 3d8 force damage. Damage increases by 1d8 at 5th(4d8) and 11th(5d8) level. The range of attack is your movement speed + unarmored movement
- Can only be used once. Long rest needed in order to use again.
Ki Detection
At the 6th level, by using your heightened abilities to sense life energy, you are more perceptive to tracking an organic creature. You have advantage when searching for a creature that is organic and alive
Ki Amplification
At the 6th level, spend one ki point to amplify the damage to any ki based attacks by your unarmed damage die + wisdom modifier.
Ki Flare
At the 6th level, Using 1 ki point, you emit a bright light to blind the opponent.
- Target must roll a wisdom saving throw. If successful, they do not get blinded. While blinded, target has disadvantage on skill and attack rolls and attackers have advantage on target.
Ki Charge
You can spend one action to regain ki equal to your unarmed damage die. You cannot attack this same turn.
Astral Arm Ki Manipulation
On the 11th level, by using 3 Ki Points while Astral arms are up, you use all four hands to launch a ki blast, striking any single opponent within range for 4d10 damage + wisdom modifier. The damage increases by 1d10(5d10) at 17th level. This can only be used once, a long rest is needed to use again.
Deflect Energy
At the 11th level, when you take acid, cold, fire, lightning, or force damage, you can use your reaction to deflect it. When you do so, the damage you take is reduced by 1d10 + your Wisdom modifier + your monk level.
Astral Arm Protection
At the 17th level, while astral arms are up, AC increases by 2.
Limit Break
At the 17th level, you can break your limits under extreme pressure.
- If under 1/4 strength (can be subbed with dexterity) and wisdom increases by 2. If taken the attack action, can attack twice.
Ki Regeneration
At the 17th level, you can feel your energy swell once you defeat an opponent.
- When a creature within 10 feet of you is reduced to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to regain ki points equal to your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1).
