Base Class: Fighter
Fighters are often seen as a jack of all trades, especially when it comes to the variety of weapons Fighters use. This Fighter takes that weapon variety to the extreme. While all Fighters are extremely capable with a large number of weapons, this Fighter excels at using multiple weapons at once.
Walking Armory
Starting at 3rd level, you always have a variety of sheaths, quivers, and other weapon storage items on your person. Thus, so long as you can feasibly carry all of the weapons you have on you, you always have a place to store more weapons.
Quickswitch
At 3rd level, you've learned how to make use of your large variety of weapons efficiently. As a bonus action taken during a weapon attack you make on your turn, you can switch any weapon(s) you are holding in your hand(s) with any other weapon(s) you have on your person and make a single weapon attack with that/one of those weapon(s). You cannot add your Str or Dex modifier to this extra attack.
This can be done as part of any attack you make on your turn, and any additional attacks done on your turn can be done with the new weapon(s) you have equipped.
Understanding your Enemy
Starting at 7th level, your vast knowledge of weaponry allows you to determine what other creatures are capable of, combat wise. If you spend at least 1 minute observing or interacting with another creature outside combat, you can learn certain information about its weapon-based capabilities.
The DM tells you:
- Actions the creature can take in combat.
- Any other features that allow the creature to cause damage.
- One of either their Str, Dex, or Con scores (your choice).
Weapon Specialization
While you are comparatively extremely competent with all weapons, at 10th level you become an expert with certain weapon types. Select one of the options below.
Heavy Weapon Expert
You can now wield heavy weapons as if they were weapons without the heavy property.
You can wield two-handed weapons with one hand.
If a weapon does not have the heavy property, it gains the light property when you wield it.
Light Weapon Expert
When you engage in Two-Weapon Fighting, you can make multiple attacks with the offhand weapon.
The number of attacks you can make is equal to the number of Extra Attacks you can make when making an attack with your main-hand weapon.
Two-Handed Expert
Any weapon that does not have the versatile property gains the versatile property when you wield it.
This upgrades the damage die of a weapon to one size larger (unless it is a d12, in which case this feature has no effect) if you wield the weapon with two hands.
Versatile Weapon Expert
You can use the upgraded damage die of any weapon with the versatile property even if you are wielding the weapon with one hand.
Rapid Quickswitch
Starting at 15th level, you've become so adept at switching out weapons that you can do so multiple times in a row. If you have advantage on an attack roll, you can choose to forgo the advantage and use your bonus action to use Quickswitch twice in a row, making the extra attack each time.
Master of Arms
Starting at 18th level, you can perform Quickswitch during an opportunity attack without using your bonus action.
You can use your reaction for an opportunity attack even if you have already expended your reaction this round, but not if you have already used your reaction this turn.
