Base Class: Monk
practitioners of The way of the lightning soul did not gain there ability through the this discipline but rather bestow upon them or born with them but wether you were born with it or not you don’t have control of these power and people who have no control over this power is a danger for both everyone around them and their selves that’s why the way of the lightning soul was made to use your ki to control the lightning curse and turn it something more useful
Lightning hands
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, harness your own energy from within you allowing you to do astonishing feats.
Lightning fist
•When you hit an enemy with your flurry of blows attack you can add an extra lightning damage equal to your martial arts die only one attack can benefit from this.
lighting leap
•When you use step of the wind you also gain a fly speed equal to you movement speed until the end of your current turn
Return with extra charge
•when you use a ki point to reflect a missile you deal an extra lightning damage equal to your martial arts die
Hunger for energy
When you reach 3rd your dependence on energy grows that it’s a necessity for your body to function as such monks of this tradition learn how to absorb incoming energy.you gain the following dis abilities and features
•when your out of ki points make a con savings throw or take your marital arts die+your maximum ki points necrotic damage and your movement speed is reduced to 10 and you have dis advantage on all of your rolls and no damage on a successful save but still suffer the movement lose and dis advantage regardless of your bonuses this damage can not be reduced and the movement and roll penalty will last until you gain a ki point or more
•as a reaction When your damage by lightning you can decreases the lightning damage by 1d10+wis mod and for every 2 damage absorb you gain 1 ki point you can also use a action to absorb energy from the creature or an object that has a huge amount of electricity you deal 1d10+wis necrotic damage (minimum of 1) this damage can not be reduced
hidden reserves
At 6th level, you gain the ability to recover much needed energy for your journey once per long when you ran out of ki points you can use a bonus action to regain ki points equal to your wisdom Modifier
Lightning skin
Beginning at 11th level, A special defensive lightning envelope around your body when ever you are hit with a melee. Attack you can use your reaction to Deal lightning damage equal to your monk die. You can only benefit from this feat if you still have ki points left
Manifest Energy
At 17th level, you gain the ability to harness the energy within you to its full potential enveloping your hole body with lightning as a bonus action you can spend 3 ki points to gain the following features at the starts of your turn you must spend 1 ki point to keep the feature active for that turn if you ran out of ki points the the features automatically drops
•all of your attacks deal an extra 1d6 points of lightning damage
•Lightning skin no longer needs reaction to activate
•When you use step of the wind instead of a flying speed you can teleport to a location you can see the amount of feat you can teleport is equal to your walking speed and every creature within 5 ft from the place you teleported to must make a dex save or take 1d10 lightning damage and be push back 10 feat if they succeeded they take half and is not push back 10feat
