Base Class: Barbarian
A flurry of axes or an onslaught of arrows can sate the bloodlust of even the most ferocious warrior. The Path of the Wrathful Marksman is a deadly blend of fury and finesse, allowing those who follow this path a force to be reckoned with—at any distance.
Ranged Fury
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you gain several bonuses to ranged combat and thrown weaponry.
• You may now use Strength instead of Dexterity for the attack and damage of any weapon with the range property.
• Your Rage feature adds its damage bonus to ranged attacks from weapons with the range or thrown property that use Strength.
• You can use all thrown weapons up to a range of 40 feet without disadvantage caused by the range.
• You can draw, wield, or stow two one-handed weapons with the thrown property when you would normally be able to draw, wield, or stow only one.
Fluid Ferocity
Beginning at 6th level, you can replace one of your attacks made with the attack action with either the dash or disengage action.
Puncturing Shots
Beginning at 10th level, once on each of your turns when you take the attack action, you may choose to replace an attack with a puncturing shot. When you choose to do this, you make a ranged attack against the two creatures closest to you in a 25 foot line starting from you, and deal your attack's regular damage on any hits. This action only requires one piece of ammunition or thrown weapon for both attack rolls you make as part of it.
In addition, your Brutal Critical feature can now be used by ranged attacks.
Savage Technique
At 14th level, you can use one of the following techniques as an action. You have one use of this ability, and regain the use of it after a short rest.
Destructive Vortex
You can use your action to unleash a devastating whirlwind of arrows or thrown weapons. Choose up to 4 creatures within 40 feet of yourself and make a ranged attack against each of them. You must have enough ammunition or thrown weapons for each target, and you can draw as many weapons with the thrown property as you need for this action to a maximum of 4.
Crazed Onslaught
You can use your action to unleash a frenzied burst of arrows or thrown weapons at a single target. Choose a creature within 30 feet, and make four ranged attacks against it, with a -2 penalty on each attack roll. You must have enough ammunition or thrown weapons for each attack, and you can draw as many weapons with the thrown property as you need for this action to a maximum of 4.

Agree with Ludo
I would recommend adding a feature which means that you no longer have disadvantage on range attacks in close combat
the 6th level feature is too similar to a Rogue’s cunning action IMHO
I would recommend adding a feature which means that you no longer have disadvantage on range attacks in close combat. I can totally see a barbarian raging into close combat shooting a longbow point blank at enemies. Considering Barbarian's recklessness, this would make sense I think.
Introducing version 2 of the Wrathful Marksman!
The only changes here are its level 10 and 14 abilities, but they're fairly major when it comes to them.
Powerful Shots has been removed, and replaced by Puncturing Shots. Puncturing Shots replicated the now-removed Puncturing Missile from Savage Technique, only without the damage bonus. In an ideal circumstance, it's an extra attack, but relies on the barbarian getting the most out of their increased movement and risking getting closer. Also, it now enables Brutal Critical to function with your ranged attacks, which was always intended to be there in the previous versions.
Savage Technique has had Puncturing Missile replaced by Crazed Onslaught. Whereas Destructive Vortex allows for four attacks in one turn, with one against each of up to four enemies, Crazed Onslaught is the single-target version. While this would normally be far more powerful, you have disadvantage on these attacks due to the manic nature of your attacks.
I'm very interested in the feedback on the new changes - particularly the level 14 techniques. Do they need a buff or a nerf? Are they comparable?
Thanks!
