Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

"My lord, take these, the deadliest of my minions. They shall aid you in your conquest."
          - Barron X'nill sends Acidic Hunters to aid King Lenaril

Acidic Hunters are a special Zereth Fighter Sub-Class. They are among the most elite and infamous of all Zereth Fighters. Acidic Hunters tend to be more brutal and resourceful during combat compared to their other fighter counterparts. They favor natural blades, spines, and barbed projectiles, blending mid-range and close quarters combat.

Naturally Lethal

Starting at 3rd level, you’re able to strike with your natural weapons with, especially potent acid. Whenever you hit with a natural weapon and deal damage, the weapon’s damage increases by an amount based on your level in this class, as shown on the Naturally Lethal Damage table.

Hunters Reflexes

Beginning at 7th level, your keen senses allow you to turn your preys mistakes into brutal opportunities.

Whenever you are missed by an incoming melee attack, you can instantly make an opportunity attack at that target (as a free action) as long as they are within reach. If you ready an action to anticipate an opponent's missed attack, you may make an opportunity attack at your maximum range.

Combat Adaptation

At 10th level, you can choose between Furious or Guarded strikes.

Furious Strikes

When making multiple attacks with a natural weapon, you can split damage between two different, adjacent, targets. You must choose the targets before rolling your attack. Your attack roll is versus the target of your choice between the two. Gain an extra natural weapon attack.

Guarded Strike

Whenever you're making multiple melee attacks, you can choose to sacrifice a number of attacks from the melee attacks your about to make. For every attack that you choose not to perform, you gain +3 to AC until the start of your next turn.

Thrill of Mutated Rage

Whenever you kill an enemy of your level or higher, you can regain a number of hit points equal to half your total HP. You become increasingly aggressive when damaged. You gain +2 on attack and damage rolls for every time you take damage from a hostile source, this increase resets at the end of your turn.

Corrosive Acid Barbed Spine Bank

The Corrosive Acid Barbed Spine Bank of a full grown Acidic Hunter contains hundreds of javelin-like spines fired at rates that can penetrate the toughest armors. These spines, fired by muscular action, can be released frighteningly quickly, and can quickly shred an armored knight into ribbons. Upon entering the armor or body of the target, these spines flex and burrow seemingly eating away at the target, disintegrating anything metal or flesh within 1 inch of impact.
