Dragon Training Regiment

At 3rd level, you follow a training regiment based of a type of metallic dragon. At 3rd level, pick one of the following Dragon types, you gain the feature mentioned, as well as later benefits. This is your Dragon Training Regiment.

Aerial Training

At 3rd level, you gain draconic aspects to your form. You grow dragon-like wings sprouting from your back, among other characteristics. You can speak, read, and write Draconic. You gain a flight speed equal to your walking speed and can hover. You cannot wield or wear a shield, weapon with the heavy property or heavy armor and fly. You are also considered resistant to damage you take from falling.

When you are in the air, you can choose to drop down to attack with a melee weapon you are wielding. When you do, make an attack role against someone beneath you in your weapons range. On a hit, the target takes the regular weapon damage, along with 1d6 of the same damage type for every 10 feet you fall before hitting them. When you hit someone with this ability after falling atleast 30 feet, they must make a DC 10 or half of damage taken (Which ever is higher) strength saving throw or be knocked prone. When you use this ability, you cannot make another attack on that turn, even if you have the Extra Attack feature.

Draconic Breath

As your understanding of the style grow, you gain a dragon like breath. At 7th level, you can cast the Dragon's Breath spell once per long rest, using the damage type of your Dragon Training Regiment dragon type. Constitution is your spell casting modifier for this.

The exact nature of your appearance is up to you and your DM. You also gain resistance to the damage type of your Dragon Training Regiment damage type. Also, once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an a 1d8 damage to the target. The damage type is that of your Dragon Training Regiment feature.

Draconic Appearance

Your dragon-like features grow more apparent. At 15th level, you gain the following benefits:

Your scales harden. While you aren’t wearing armor, you can calculate your AC as 14 + your Constitution modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit.

You grow retractable claws from the tips of your fingers. Extending or retracting the claws requires no action. The claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d8 + your Strength modifier, instead of the normal bludgeoning damage for an unarmed strike.

You can let out a loud roar that is audible from 300 feet away as an action. Anyone who can hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw or be Frightened of you for 1 minute, they can repeat the saving throw at the end of their turn. Creatures that cannot see you have disadvantage on the save. When the effect ends or the target succeeds the saving trow, they are immune to the effect for 24 hours. You may choose a number of those creatures up to your Constitution modifier (minimum of one creature). A chosen creature automatically succeeds on its saving throw.
