Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

You are still not quite sure how it happened. You were swimming in a pond near your village and decided to try and reach the bottom. The pond was much deeper than you expected and then suddenly, you broke the surface despite only swimming down. You found yourself in a cave with a single tunnel. Trying to swim back the way you came, you discovered that the pool you were currently swimming in was quite shallow and completely closed off. With no other options, you headed down the tunnel.

A short while later you entered another chamber with yet another pool of water. There was a light pink glow coming from deep within the pool and you found yourself unable to resist diving in to get a better look. As you swam deeper into the dark waters of the pool, towards the glow, you realized with shock that you could breathe just like on land. There were small creatures living in the pool but they were never close enough to get a good look. You approached the glow, which was coming from an underwater cave. As you neared the cave entrance a rush of movement caused you to swim back a few feet in shock. An enormous creature swam out from the cave and positioned itself to look upon you.

The creature was incredibly large, making you look like an ant in comparison. It was light pink in color and had a similar appearance to the salamanders you would catch and keep as pets when you were a child. This creature however had strange pink branchlike appendages on its neck and was like nothing you had ever heard of.  Suddenly you realized that the other creatures you had noticed while swimming down were much smaller versions of this creature however most were a blackish color.

The creature looked directly at you and you felt like it was seeing more than just your physical form. Your very essence seemed to be being judged. After what felt like hours, the being seemed to nod and its tail came forward and touched your head. You blacked out and awoke on the shore of the pond. You realized that you had similar appendages on your neck to those of the creature or being you had encountered as well as instinctual knowledge that it had granted you power. Why? You do not know. But something tells you that you have gained its favor and will learn more in the future.
