Base Class: Monk
The eye is slower than the mind; the hand is slower than the heart. The subconscious can reach what the mind can only desire, and shut eyes can grasp what open eyes can only pass by.
Dream Drop
Starting at 3rd level, you can use a bonus action to fall asleep on your feet. This sleep does not inflict the Unconscious condition, but you cannot speak or read while asleep, and can only communicate through simple gestures. While you are asleep, you may take actions as normal.
Dream Walk
While you are sleeping, as a reaction to an attack you may move up to 10 feet an any direction; if you move out of the attack's range, it misses. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per long rest, and you can spend a ki point to gain an additional use of this feature.
Waking Moment
The crossing between slumber and wakefulness is no barrier to you. Starting at 3rd level, if you did not fall asleep this turn, you can wake up as a free action. In addition, you can cast Sleep once per long rest, and you can cast Sleep additional times for 2 ki points.
Muscle Memory
Starting at 6th level, while you are asleep, you have advantage on dex checks and saves. In addition, you may act normally if you are surprised in the first turn of combat, but only if you fall asleep before doing anything else on that turn. You also have proficiency in Perception checks.
Instinctive Strike
Starting at 6th level, your unconscious movements can suddenly catch attackers off guard. While you are asleep, if you are targeted by an attack, you can spend 1 ki point to make an unarmed attack as a reaction.
Collective Unconsiciousness
Starting at 17th level, you can control the flow of your ki to connect to the minds of others within the realm of dreams. You can cast Dream for 3 ki points.
