Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your origin isn't well known or understood, Few people could even try to guess by using the patches of ice around your body, your glowing blue eyes, and your snow-white hair as clues. Ether you had been raised by a clan living in the frozen north, cursed by a magician who wields ice magic, or perhaps you're are the descendant of a creature of the cold. Whatever the case, you are a growing sorcerer whose powers reside in the manipulation and control of cold.

Frozen Bloodline

Somewhere in your bloodline is a being with control of the magic of ice and snow. You gain additional spells at the following levels, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th.

Frozen Bloodline Additional Spells

1st: Absorb Elements, Ice Knife

3rd: Sniloc's Snowball Swarm, Misty Step

5th: Sleet Storm, Tidal Wave

7th: Ice Storm, Watery Sphere

9th: Cone of Cold, Control Winds

Cold Blooded

As ice flows through your blood, it causes:  the skin on your limbs to be coated in patchy frost, your breath to become foggy, and your hair to turn pure white. At 1st level,  you become resistant to cold damage and can ignore difficult terrain in the form of snow or ice. Also, due to parts of your body being coated in ice, you can add your charisma modifier to your unarmored defense. At 14th level, you now become immune to cold damages.

Icy Magic

At level 6 you gain the following two abilities:

  • Freezing Touch: When you cast a cantrip that deals cold damage, add a bonus to that cold damage equal to your charisma modifier (min. 1).
  • Winter Blast: Any time that you cast a spell of level 1 or higher that deals cold damage, you can spend 1 sorcery point per creature, to force a number of creatures that were affected by the spell must make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell Save DC. On a failure, a creature is stunned until the end of its next turn. You can only use this ability once per long rest.

In addition, the ice in your blood has caused your body's natural lifespan to be extended. For every 10 years that pass, your body ages only 1 year, and you are immune to being magically aged.

Frostbite

At 14th level, your magical cold attacks can now deal more damage. When you cast a spell or use an ability that results in cold damage, you may ignore resistance to cold damage. Your cold-based attacks also gained an added damage of 1d6 + your Charisma modifier.

Blizzard Aura

Beginning at 18th level, you gain the ability to envelop you and an area around you in a magical aura with the appearance of a blizzard. As an action, you can create a cylindrical aura with a radius of 40 ft, centered at your location that moves with you for one minute, though you can only move half speed for the duration. You are also unable to use any other actions, as you are concentrating on this particular spell only and trying to maintain it for the duration. The aura is considered as a magical difficult terrain, and inside of it all forms of sight are blocked beyond 10ft by the blizzard. The aura is filled with heavy snow and strong winds making the area count as heavily cover for any creature inside. You can declare creatures of your choice to be immune to all of your aura effects.

On each round, any enemies that begin their turn within the aura, or enter the aura, must make a Constitution saving throw equal to your Spell Save DC, or take 6d10 cold damage and become petrified within a large block of ice for one minute, then the ice melts. A creature killed by this spell instead becomes a frozen statue until it thaws. You and your companions gain advantage against a frozen target. However afterward, the enemy is then free from imprisonment as the result. At the start of each of their turns, encased enemies can make a Strength saving throw in the attempt to break free. If they succeed, they burst out from the ice. On a success, the enemies have advantage on Constitution saving throws related to the aura for the next 24 hours.

The aura can be dismissed early as an action. Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again till you finish a long rest.
