Base Class: Monk
Your culinary skills and your martial prowess are one and the same.
Bonus Proficiencies
At 3rd Level, You are proficient in Cook's Utensils and Brewer's Kits if you aren't already. You are also proficient in Constitution saving throws.
Culinary Techniques of Legend
At 3rd Level, Your passion and training has culminated in a robust repertoire in the art of cooking. You gain the following benefits:
Flame-weaver's Flare. You can weave your Ki with precision in order to create culinary flare. You know the Control Flame and Prestidigitation cantrips, and can cast Purify Food and Drink only as a ritual. Additionally, you can expend 1 Ki Point in order to cast Create Food and Water without expending a spell slot. However, you only produce 15 pounds of food and 10 gallons of water when casting it in this way.
Ki-Spiced Dish. You can make rations that are marinated in and infused with your Ki. Upon finishing a long rest, you can prepare a batch of rations so long as you have the material and tools to do so. Cooking in this way does not count as strenuous activity for you. You can make up to an amount of servings equal to your Wisdom modifier. As an Action, a creature can consume one serving it has in its possession in order to regain an amount of Hit Points equal to 2 rolls of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier. Additionally, until the end of its next turn, it can use a Bonus Action to Dash, Disengage, Dodge, or make two unarmed strikes as if proficient, using your Wisdom modifier, if it so chooses, for the attack and damage rolls.
A serving must be consumed within 24 hours of its creation, or else it has no effect other than satisfying hunger.
Mythical Cutlery. For you, weapons are to foes as cutlery is to food. Once per turn, when you hit a creature with a Monk weapon, you can expend any number of Ki Points in order to amplify the attack, to a maximum of 3 Ki Points. For every Ki Point expended, you forcibly shove the creature an additional 5 ft. away in any direction and your attack deals an additional Martial Arts die of fire or cold damage.
Golden Vitality
At 3rd Level, You can cause your skin to glitter with a golden gleam. Its vibrancy is evidence of your rigorous dietary, culinary, and combat training. As a Bonus Action, you can expend 1 Ki point in order to enter a transformation that manifests as Ki-infused golden skin, which lasts for 1 minute. You can make one unarmed strike as part of this transformation. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:
- You can add your Constitution modifier as a bouns to your AC (minimum of +1), as well as to the attack or damage roll (your choice) of your weapon attacks and unarmed strikes (minimum of +1). If you take damage, you lose the AC bonus until the start of your next turn.
- The first unarmed strike you hit with on your turn deals an additional amount of radiant damage equal to your Martial Arts die.
Well-spring of Inner Health
At 6th Level, You learn to conserve your Ki by drawing out self-sustaining energies from the golden health of your body. If you expend one or more Ki Points to use your Monk features, you can substitute any amount of those Ki Points with Monk Hit dice, which are expended when used in this way. When doing so, you heal for an amount equal to a roll of all expended Monk Hit dice. However, you must expend 2 Monk Hit dice for every 1 Ki Point you wish to substitute. For instance, if you wish to expend 1 Ki Point to use "Flurry of Blows", you can instead expend 2 Monk Hit dice, which are d8's. You then heal 2d8 Hit Points.
As usual, expended Hit dice are restored upon finishing a long rest.
Shimmering Vitality
At 11th Level, The gleam of your golden complexion shimmers ever brighter, further forged through your pursuits and passions. When you enter your "Golden Vitality" form, you can expend 2 additional Ki points in order to amplify the transformation. A "Golden Vitality" form amplified in this way gains the following additional benefits:
- You gain resistant against slashing, piercing, bludgeoning, fire, and cold damage.
- The first unarmed strike you hit with on your turn deals an additional amount of radiant damage equal to 2 rolls of your Martial Arts die, instead of 1.
Banquet of the Eternal Dynasty
At 17th Level, You can conjure, through unrivaled culinary skill and passion, a nearly endless meal fit to feed a nation over the span of an empire. Although clearly an exaggeration, those who partake in it would think otherwise. As an Action, you can cast the Heroes' Feast spell without the need for a material component or expending a spell slot. Any creature that partakes in your Heroes' Feast benefits from it as normal, and furthermore, will not suffer from the effects of exhaustion throughout the duration of the spell's effect. After partaking in your Heroes' Feast, you enter your amplified "Golden Vitality" form, which gains the following additional benefits when entered in this way:
- Your "Golden Vitality" form has a duration of 24 hours, instead of 1 minute.
- If your Hit Points are below half your Hit Point maximum, you heal for an amount of Hit Points at the start of each of your turns equal to your Martial Arts die.
- The first unarmed strike you hit with on your turn deals an additional amount of radiant damage equal to 3 rolls of your Martial Arts die, instead of 2.
If you cast Heroes' Feast through this feature, you cannot cast it again in this way for seven days.
