Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Overforge are known throughout the planes as constant victors through their extreme training in every situation and attacks with flaming force. Their techniques usually consist of quick flurries that can kill anybody of equal strength in seconds, manipulating their own ki to enforce metal and melt the strongest of materials, and they practice a special form of meditation granting them access to even the most ancient of weaponry.
Overforged Technique
When you choose this Monastic Tradition at the 3rd level, you learn how to access the ki of your opponents and use it to your advantage. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:
-
- It must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take your level plus your wisdom or intelligence modifier plus your proficiency bonus worth of fire damage.
- It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw. If it fails, they cannot move until the end of their next turn.
- It must succeed on a Strength saving throw. If it fails, they are knocked back in any direction besides towards you by 10 feet.
Molten Form
At 6th level, you gain the ability to shift your being into a metallic and melted entity. As an action, you enter “Molten Body”. When in Molten Body, which you can maintain until taking damage up to your level times 3 or 30 seconds, your Armor Class increases by 3, your attacks deal an addition of fire damage equal to your level plus your intelligence or wisdom modifier, and you gain immunity to poison damage. You must finish a long rest before you can use this feature again..
Chaotic Aid
Beginning at 11th level, you can enter a special meditation that surrounds you with an aura of constant chaos. At the end of a long rest, you can power up your own and your allies' attacks, spells, and healing to deal, heal or further a range by your proficiency bonus worth of damage, healing points, feet of range, or minutes of lengthened time. You can use this feature once per every three monk levels rounded down per long rest.
Casted Genesis
At 17th level, you acquire the ability to modify your own body beyond simple material shifts, and can make your entity into not just a warrior but into a deadly living weapon capable of mass destruction. In exchange for the usage of 3 ki, you can modify your being until three things could happen. You can be modified until unconsciousness, a long rest, or you spend 1 ki to deactivate the modification.
The first available modification is the Genesis Blades. One hand is turned into a sword which acts like an unremovable +3 sword that only requires one hand to hold.
The second available modification is the Genesis Cannon. One hand is turned into a blaster of fire energy which makes one hand unusable in exchange for being able to cast fireball at will when activated at third level.
The third available modification is the Genesis Armor. In exchange for not being able to wield any other armor, your armor class is turned to 16 + your dexterity, constitution, or strength modifier + your proficiency bonus.
