Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Halted Clock have learned through intense training how to disrupt the flow of time in small but impactful ways. They learn techniques to fire objects with blazing speeds, deal stunning counters, and prevent their body from expiring.
Halted Clock Technique
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can halt and change the momentum of small objects. Either as a bonus action or as part of your Deflect Missiles feat, you can spend a ki point to touch a small object or a projectile, halting it's momentum, leaving it hovering in the air. If the object takes bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, redirect the object's momentum so that it would fire in the opposite direction from which it was attacked, but it remains locked in the air. The object continues it's momentum after a minute, or if you use a bonus action or a reaction to release it. Creatures in it's range must make a DEX save equal to (10 + the number of times it was damaged) or take damage equal to it's damage, plus any bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage it's taken. You can have up to 3 objects affected by this at a time.
Halting Counter
At 6th level, you learn how to counter foes by locking them in place. When a creature makes a melee attack against you and misses, as a reaction, you can make a Stunning Strike against them.
Death Halter
At 11th level, you learn how to keep yourself stable by halting your wounds. On your turn, when you would make a death save, you can spend 2 Ki points to end your turn without rolling. Furthermore, upon doing this, you cannot gain any failures for 1 round.
Halt the World
At 17th level, you gain mastery over stopping. You can use your Stopped Clock Technique on up to 10 objects at a time, and rather than releasing after a minute, you can choose to make them last longer. Furthermore, you can cast the spell Time Stop by expending 5 Ki points, but this can only be done once per day
