Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Most wizards spend their entire lives learning how to weave the threads of magic. You? You just let the magic weave itself. Instead of harnessing the chaotic energy of magic, you let the chaos flow. You harness what some call "Wild Magic" and have learned to use it for your own gain.

Wild Magic

Because of the special way you cast your spells, whenever you manipulate the magical threads, there is a chance an unprecedented event happens. Whenever you cast a spell, roll a d20. Subtract the level of the spell from the result of the d20. If the total is 1 or less, roll a d100 on the Wild Magic table.

Wilder Magic

Instead of delicately guiding the threads of magic, you can instead forgo the usual caution and care, and instead wildly manipulate them to get the desired result. At 2nd level, a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus, you can apply one of the following effects when you cast a spell: You gain advantage on a spell attack. One creature that you can see has disadvantage on its saving throw. You can re-roll one of the spell's damage dice. You can cast a spell with a casting time of one action as a bonus action. However, using this feature forces you to roll on the Wild Magic table.

Focused Chaos

You've learned to harness the Wild Magic for yourself, but now you can harness the Wild Magic around others. At 6th level, a number of times per long rest equal to your spellcasting ability modifier, you can use your reaction to a creature you can see casting a spell, you can force them to roll on the Wild Magic table.

Controlled Chaos

You've learned how to control your surges of Wild Magic, sort of. At 10th level, when you roll on the Wild Magic table, you can roll twice and pick which result happens. You can use this feature three times per short or long rest. When you reach 14th level, you can use this feature any time you roll on the Wild Magic table.

Harnessed Chaos

You've now finally learned to harness the chaotic Wild Magic. Again, sort of. at 14th level, once per long rest, when you roll on the Wild Magic table, you can instead choose what happens. You can also use this feature when you force an enemy to roll on the Wild Magic table.
