The monks of ** have trained to do battle with the unpredictable magics of this world.  Marshaling both their physical and mental capabilities, a Way of the Mage Breaker is a force no battle mage wishes to encounter.

Arcane Denial

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can deny your enemy the ability to use critical components in casting when you strike. Whenever you hit a creature with one of the attacks granted by your Flurry of Blows, you can impose one of the following effects on that target:

  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be blinded [Tooltip Not Found].
  • It must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be defeaned [Tooltip Not Found].
  • It can’t take reactions until the end of your next turn.

Bane of the Magi

At 6th level, you gain the ability to unravel magical weaves by channeling your Ki. You can cast Dispel Magic or Counter spell at 3rd level using 3 Ki points.

Spell Rebutle

Beginning at 11th level, you learn to intercept those that attempt channel the arcane. By spending 2 Ki points you can use your reaction to move up to half your movement speed and perform Flurry of Blows.

Absorb and Reflect

At 17th level, you gain the ability to harness and redirect arcane energy.  If you take damage from a spell you can spend 1 Ki point to redirect half of that damage to another source within 15 feet of you. 

You have advantage on saving throws vs spells.
