Base Class: Monk
Monks of the Way of the Flow like to determine what is acceptable in terms of battle. Your diligence through training has allowed you to move with the flow of combat easier than any other as you weave your strikes past the opponents’ finding areas of opportunity where there should be none. Even simple conversation is just another area to use your abilities as you weft and weave your words at the right moment. Most monks who choose this path often times are pacifists who only attack when necessary but swift and subtle when doing so.
Bonus Proficiencies
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in Persuasion(Cha) if you didn't already have it and when you do so you may use your Wisdom modifier to the roll as well.
Go with the Flow
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your movement and prowess in combat are tricky even for the most veteran of fighters. At the start of your turn you can spend one (up to three) Ki point(s) and choose one or more from the following abilities:
- For the duration of the round you have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing from non-magical weapons. At 11th level this applies to magical weapons as well.
- You can use your reaction for whenever a creature misses with an attack you can then riposte said attack and deal their weapons damage back to them and add your DEX modifier instead. This does not apply to the weapons abilities or the wielders abilities.
- You gain a bonus to AC equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down
These abilities last until the start of your next turn.
Be like water
At 6th level Your abilities are honed to the point that you are indistinguishable from water at a glance. You suffer no consequences to attacks, saves, or movement due to the water.
Whip like Limbs
Starting at 11th level your hands and limbs behave almost like whips that can accelerate to blinding speeds causing you to render your opponent in a horrifically painful scenario. Once per turn you can spend a Ki point whenever you hit with an attack to force your opponent to make a saving throw against your Ki save DC. If the opponent fails they are forced to drop whatever they are carrying and are frightened of you until your next turn.
Hands Like Silken Razors
At 17th level you can use your whip-like limbs in devastating and even crippling ways. Once during your turn you may spend 4 Ki points to render the enemies defenses useless, using your unarmed strike attacks revoke the use of armor on the enemy’s side. All attacks during this turn are against an AC of 10 plus their Dex modifier.
