Monk
Base Class: Monk

You see the flaw in all things, and this grants your unarmed strikes devastating power, especially against constructs and inanimate objects.

See the Flaw

3rd-level Way of the Shatterer feature

Your intuitive sense for the breaking points of both people and objects grants you proficiency in the Insight and Perception skills. When you use one of these skills to determine how best to harm a creature or object, you can spend 1 ki point to roll the ability check with advantage. If the check fails, you do not lose the ki point, but you may not use this feature on the same creature or object again until you take a short or long rest.

In addition, you make attack rolls against nonmagical inanimate objects with advantage.

Shattering Hand

3rd-level Way of the Shatterer feature

Your heightened awareness of weak points, physical and otherwise, helps you focus your ki to strike in a way that produces devastating vibrations in the target. When you hit a target with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to deal extra thunder damage equal to one roll of your Martial Arts die + your Wisdom modifier.

When you use this feature against a construct or inanimate object, you automatically treat any hit as a critical hit for the purpose of rolling damage.

You can use this feature only once per turn.

Destructive Resonance

6th-level Way of the Shatterer feature

You can project the shattering force of your will beyond your hands. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 ki points to cast the thunderwave spell as a bonus action.

In addition, you can spend 3 ki points to cast the shatter spell as an action.

You can spend additional ki to increase either spell’s level by 1 level per ki point. The maximum number of ki points that you can spend on one of these spells (2 plus any additional points for thunderwave, or 3 plus any additional points for shatter) equals half your monk level.

Clean Break

11th-level Way of the Shatterer feature

When you make an unarmed strike, you can use the Shattering Hand feature without spending a ki point. You can also spend ki points to do additional thunder damage, equal to one Martial Arts die per ki point. The maximum number of ki points you can spend equals half your monk level.

In addition, when you use Shattering Hand against an object that has a damage threshold, you now ignore the damage threshold.

You can still use Shattering Hand only once per turn.

Shatterpoint

17th-level Way of the Shatterer feature

Once per long rest, when you use the Shattering Hand feature, you can spend a maximum number of ki points equal to your monk level.

When you use Shatterpoint to strike an inanimate object, or a construct with a Challenge Rating lower than your monk level, instead of rolling for damage you do maximum damage.
