Base Class: Fighter

A Survivalist is someone who excels at adapting to various unexpected circumstances while keeping themselves alive. These sorts of individuals may have lived in the wilderness for some amount of time, lived in poverty, or had other circumstances that led them to learning their tools of the trade. Regardless, Survivalists tend to be resourceful individuals whose practical skills are welcome in any number of places.

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in one skill of your choice, as well as one language of your choice.

Steely Resolve

Starting at 3rd level, you have gained the ability to push onwards in the face of adversity.

As a bonus action, you can harden your resolve, gaining 1d4 temporary hit points that last until the start of your next turn. This number of temporary hit points increases as you gain levels in this class, as shown by the Resolve Die table.

Enduring Form

Starting at 7th level, your body knows what to do when it doesn't have the things it needs.

You have advantage on saving throws you make against Exhaustion when you go without food and water, advantage on saving throws against disease.

In addition, when you are reduced to 0 hit points, and not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead, and gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your Fighter level + your Constitution modifier (minimum 1). Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Scrappy

At 10th level, your sharp wits and unnatural quickness has begun to give you an edge in combat.

You have advantage on the first weapon attack you make each turn. 

As well, when you use your Second Wind feature, you can also roll your Resolve Die as part of that feature.

Hearty Body

At 15th level, your body has become accustomed to wear and tear, and can recover faster from tiredness and injuries faster than most.

For each hit die you spend during a short rest, you regain an additional number of hit points equal to half your proficiency bonus (rounding up). In addition, when you finish a short rest, you can reduce your exhaustion level (if any) by 1. Once you reduce your exhaustion in this way, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.

Unmatched Endurance

At 18th level, you can harness your inner strength and endurance to renew your vigor.

As an action, you can regain any expended uses of your Action SurgeSecond Wind, and Indomitable features. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish 1d4 long rests.
