Base Class: Rogue
You are an early adopter of a world changing invention: the gun. Using combustion and concussive force to propel metal shot across the battlefield, you can strike strike down even the most well armored of foes. While unwieldy and primitive, your creation is more lethal than any arrow and represents the future of warfare.
Hand Cannon
Starting at 3rd level, you construct a rudimentary firearm and the ammunition that accompanies it. The stats of this weapon are identical to a musket with a range of 80/320. Additionally, you gain proficiency in Firearms and Medium Armor.
Fork Stand
Starting at 3rd level, you have built a two tined rod that you can fix in the ground and rest your gun on to help your aim. When you use Steady Aim, you give yourself advantage on all attacks that you make with Firearms until you leave your current space.
Powder Smoke
Starting at 9th level, you alter the composition of your gunpowder to create a thick, blinding smoke. When you make an attack with a Firearm, you may choose to create a 5-foot radius sphere of light obscurement or heavy obscurement centered on yourself that lasts until the start of your next turn. This sphere does not move with you.
You may use this ability a number of time equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Penetrating Shot
Starting at 13th level, your weapon ushers in a new era of warfare. Ranged attacks you make with Firearms ignore up to 2 points of AC granted by armor or shields.
Rifling
Starting at 17th level, new advances in technology increase you weapon's range and lethality. Ranged attacks you make with Firearms ignore disadvantage and deal an additional 1d6 damage.
