Base Class: Monk
Practitioners of the Way Of The Force see their internal ki as part of a great universal force that binds all living things. Some believe the force is a tool to be used, while others believe they are simply motes floating in an unfathomable current. Some use their knowledge to achieve selfish and violent goals, while others use it to foster peace and protect the innocent. In all cases, practitioners of the Ways of The Force temper their mind and body alike to better attune their personal ki to the universal force.
Force Bonded Weapon
You can now alter a Shortsword, Longsword, or Double-Bladed Scimitar with the force, infusing it with your ki and bonding to it by performing a special ritual while you hold the weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. Once the bonding process is complete, the blade of the sword turns to ash leaving only a bladeless hilt. You can now channel your ki into this bladeless hilt to create a sword of searing light.
This Lightsword now becomes a versatile monk weapon with the light and finesse properties. It deals 1d4 radiant damage when wielded one-handed, or 1d6 two-handed. This damage increases as you gain levels in Monk: 1d6 (1d8) at 5th level, 1d8(1d10) at 11th level, and 1d10(1d12) at 17th level.
Creating the Lightsword counts as drawing a weapon. Only you can wield the Lightsword, causing the blade of light to vanish in the hands of another. Your Lightsword also disappears once you dismiss the weapon (no action required), if you are incapacitated, or if you die.
Whenever a Monk feature would allow you to make an unarmed strike, you can instead make an attack with your Lightsword. And due to your bond with the weapon you always know it's location (unless it's not on the same plane as you).
Intuitive Swordplay. You can spend 1 Ki point to gain one of the following fighting styles for one minute: Blind Fighting or Interception.
Slice Armor. When you miss an attack with your Lightsword on your turn, you can choose to spend 1 ki point to add one roll of your Martial Arts die to the attack, potentially turning a miss into a hit.
Force Pull
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can cast the mage hand cantrip, and the hand is invisible when you cast it. At 6th level, your telekinetic powers grow stronger allowing you to spend ki points to increase the amount of weight the spectral hand can lift when you cast mage hand. For every 1 ki point you spend, the spectral hand can lift an additional 50 pounds. Furthermore, when you cast mage hand, you can spend 1 ki point to extend the spell's range by 30 feet.
Starting at 6th level, you can use your action to shove a creature other than yourself by expending a number of ki points based on the creature's size: 2 ki points for medium and smaller creatures, 4 ki points for large creatures, and 6 ki points for huge creatures. The creature must succeed on a strength saving throw against your Monk DC or be moved up to 30 feet in a horizontal direction of your choice. A creature can willingly fail this saving throw.
Psionic Talents
At 6th level, you gain the ability to cast certain spells, ignoring any material and verbal components. You can now learn six of these spells from the table below, Wisdom is your spellcasting attribute for these spells and when you learn a spell using this feature, you may also replace a previous spell learned with one from the same level.

Force Deflection
Starting at 11th level, your training in the way of the force has granted you with super human eye coordination, you can now use your Force Bonded Weapon in unison with your deflect missiles feature. Using your reaction to only deflect a missile when you are hit by a ranged weapon attack. When you do so, the damage you take from the attack is reduced by 4d12 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level.
If you reduce the damage to 0, you can choose to deflect the missile and spend 1 ki point to make a ranged attack with the missile as part of the same reaction. If the missile is magical in nature you must spend 3 ki points to make a ranged attack as part of the reaction and it must be a blast spell (Spells like Eldritch Blast, Fire Bolt, Magic Missile, and Scorching Ray). You make this attack with proficiency, regardless of your weapon proficiencies, and the missile counts as a monk weapon for the attack. When deflected this way the the missile has a normal range of 60 feet and a long range of 120 feet.
