Monk
Base Class: Monk

The Way of the Host teaches its students how to host spectacular parties and events that all will enjoy. A host glides from guest to guest, attending to their needs and desires with an effortless cadence and unfazed manner. Their training allows them to move elegantly, avoiding delays and distractions while attending to anything that requires their intervention.

A host enjoys putting on a show when needed but knows when to step back and let their hard work be enjoyed without disruption, but these well-honed skills are also useful boons in other environments, such as the clamour of a busy battlefield…

Bonus Proficiencies

Your training mixes the knowledge of a seasoned sommelier and the performance of a sensational mixologist. When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Performance skill if you don’t already have it. You also gain proficiency with brewer’s supplies if you don’t already have it.

Hosting Technique

At 3rd level, you learn how to glide between groups of guests, attending to their needs as part of your Flurry of Blows. Whenever you use Flurry of Blows, you gain the benefit of the Disengage action, and your walking speed increases by 10 feet until the end of the current turn.

Life of the Party

Starting at 6th level, you can use your Ki energy to enhance your ability to cope with particularly long or busy parties. You gain the following benefits;

The Party Don’t Stop - You are able to channel your Ki energy to avoid the exhaustion that comes with hosting long parties. Spend 1d4 Ki points to remove 1 level of exhaustion.

Split Attention - Your Ki energy allows you to focus on the needs of multiple guests at the same time. As a bonus action, spend 1 Ki point to remove any advantage your enemies have as a result of outnumbering or flanking you until the end of your next turn.

Prepared for Anything

Starting at 11th level, you are seemingly ready for anything. When you make an ability check, an attack roll, or a saving throw and have disadvantage on the roll, you can spend 2 Ki points to cancel the disadvantage for that roll.

Frenzy of Activity

At 17th level, you gain the ability to make an overwhelming number of attacks against a group of enemies. When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can make up to three additional attacks with it (up to a total of five Flurry of Blows attacks), provided that each Flurry of Blows attack targets a different creature this turn.
