Scale-Skin Strike

Starting at 3rd level, you learn to harness the power of the dragon's scales to enhance your unarmed strikes.

When you make an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to imbue your hand with the elemental might of a dragon's scales. Roll two martial arts die instead of one. The damage type of the extra die is the elemental damage type you chose for your Dragon Versatility feature.

Dragonscale Defense

Also starting at 3rd level, you can use your reaction to deflect an attack by summoning a swirling aura of draconic energy.

When you are hit by an attack, you can expend 1 ki point to reduce the damage by an amount equal to your monk level + your Wisdom modifier and you gain resistance to the elemental damage type you chose for your Dragon Versatility feature for 1 minute. When you do so, your skin glows with jade green draconic scales until the end of your next turn.

Dragon's Breath

Beginning at 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your ki into your breath, unleashing a powerful stream of elemental energy.

As an action, you can expend 3 ki points to use your Dragon's Breath ability, which allows you to exhale a 20-foot cone of elemental energy. The damage type of the attack is the elemental damage type you chose for your Dragon Versatility feature. Creatures caught in the area of effect must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or take damage equal to 4d6 + your Wisdom modifier, or half as much on a successful save.

Dragon's Roar

At 11th level, you gain the ability to unleash a thunderous roar that strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies.

As an action, you can spend 4 ki points to let out a mighty shout, releasing a wave of sound that ripples outward from you in a 60-foot cone. Creatures caught in the area of effect must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) or become frightened of you for 1 minute. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per short or long rest

Jade Dragon Body

At 17th level, you have mastered the power of the divine dragon and can call upon its form at will.

As an action, you can spend 8 ki points to transform into a Jade Dragon. While in this form, your size becomes Huge, you gain a fly speed of 80 feet, and your unarmed strikes deal an extra 2d10 damage of the elemental damage type you chose for your Dragon Versatility feature. Your Dragon's Breath ability becomes more potent, dealing an additional 2d6 damage. You also gain resistance to all damage types and immunity to the elemental damage type you chose for your Dragon Versatility feature. This form lasts for 1 minute, after which you revert to your normal form. Once you use this ability, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Dragon Versatility

When you choose this monastic tradition at 3rd level you may choose one of these damage types: acid, fire, cold, lightning, or poison. You may change your type every long rest.
