Monk
Base Class: Monk

Way of the Swift

Monks who train in the way of the swift rely on utilising their immense speed and reflexes to deal damage via momentum.

Bonus Proficiencies

At third level, you are remarkably quick. You gain proficiency in the sleight of hand skill if you don't already have it. Additionally, your Unarmoured Movement bonus is doubled.

Momentum Attack

At third level, you've learnt how to put the momentum of your movement behind a strike. If you move at least 40 feet towards an enemy before an attack, your first attack that turn deals an additional 1d6 damage for every 40’ moved.

After Image

At 6th level You've become so fast enemies always seem one step behind you. You can spend 2 Ki points as an Action to cast Mirror Image on yourself requiring no material components.

Supernatural Reaction

At 11th level, your reflexes have become faster than light. Once per short rest if you fail a Dexterity check or Saving Throw, you can choose to re-roll the outcome. This can be done after the initial roll, but before the DM determines what happens after the roll.

Ricochet Blows

At 17th level, you can use your speed to deliver a devastating attack. As a bonus action on your turn, you can spend 10 ki points to have your Momentum Attack bonus applied to all of your attacks for one round. After using this ability, you take 2 levels of exhaustion.
