Monk
Base Class: Monk

A monk of the metal storm is not only capable of handling large, heavy weaponry, but does so with both strength and grace. Though their swings are often slower than other monks', they make up for it with cunning tactics and sheer power.

Weapon Proficiency

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your training grants you proficiency with all two-handed melee weapons. They do not count as monk weapons for you.

Iron Wall

At 3rd level, you learn to swiftly and accurately put your weapon between you and an attacker, creating a wall of metal between the two of you. When wielding a melee weapon with the two-handed property, you can use deflect missiles as a reaction to melee attacks as well as ranged attacks. You cannot catch melee attacks the way you can catch missiles.

Sweeping Gale

By 6th level, you learn to swing your weapon in wide, deadly arcs. When you take the attack action on your turn using a weapon with the two-handed property, you may spend up to 3 ki point, targeting one additional creature per ki point spent. All creatures must be within the attack's reach, and you must roll a seperate attack roll against each one.

Punishing Gale

Starting at 11th level, your sense of timing with heavy weapons has grown so sharp, you learn to take advantage of every opening your opponent leaves. If an enemy that is within 10 feet of you targets you with an attack or a spell that does damage and fails to damage you (whether because the attack missed, you rolled a successful save and avoided all damage, or the damage was reduced by means such as immunity or deflect missiles), you gain advantage on all attack rolls made against that creature using weapons with the two-handed property.

Harsh Winds

By 17th level, your more powerful strikes can seriously impair an enemy. Whenever you hit an enemy with an attack with a two-handed weapon, if you had an advantage on the attack roll, the enemy becomes temporarily maimed, their speed reduced by 30 feet until the beginning of your next turn.
