Base Class: Fighter

Warlords are warriors who have forged a pact with demonic entities, granted infernal might to inspire fear and dominate your enemies. They channel demonic energy to inspire fear and dominate their foes. Granted by their contract to the unholy, Warlords harness the power of demonic energy to command the battlefield.

Slaughter the Weak

Starting at 3rd level, your infliction of pain on others invigorates you. When you deal damage to a creature with a melee weapon attack, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage you dealt (rounded up). These temporary hit points last until the start of your next turn.

If you deal damage to a creature more than once on your turn, you must choose whether to accept a new temporary hit point total from your most recent damage roll or retain the temporary hit points from your previous damage roll. You can make this decision after knowing the results of the damage rolls.

Vicious Terror

At 3rd level, your patron’s influence takes visible form at the emergence of your wrath. You can use a bonus action to invoke your feelings towards a target within 30 feet of you, marking it as your Hated Foe. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 hit points or falls unconscious.

If the target drops to 0 hit points before this feature ends, you can use a bonus action on a subsequent turn of yours to mark a new creature. Once you’ve used this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Savage Brutality

At 7th level, when you deal damage to a creature with a melee weapon attack, you deal an extra {{modifier:cha@min:1#unsigned}} psychic damage as your sheer revelry in your own cruelty disturbs those you attack to their core.

You cannot be charmed or frightened and have advantage on Intimidation checks.

Unstoppable Frenzy

By 10th level, your thirst for victory helps you close off a foe's retreat. When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, you can move up to half your speed immediately after the attack and as part of the same reaction. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.

Savage Brutality

At 15th level, Your ruthless attacks are especially vicious against the wounded. Whenever you reduce a creature to 20 hit points or lower, the creature must make a ({{savedc:str}}) Constitution saving throw. On a failure, it is reduced to 0 hit points instead.

Darkness Within

Your presence becomes overwhelmingly fearsome, giving you these benefits.

Rebuke Death. You have Advantage on Death Saving Throws. Moreover, when you roll 18–20 on a Death Saving Throw, you gain the benefit of rolling a 20 on it.

Infernal Pact. At the start of each of your turns, you regain Hit Points equal to 5 plus your Constitution modifier if you are Bloodied and have at least 1 Hit Point.
