The skills of the legendary hero are a set of techniques, rather than a specific martial archetype that are passed down through generations, with bits and pieces lost to time. Those who strive for these techniques acquire them through genetic ties to legendary heroes, communion with legendary heroes, or discovering ancient texts relating to these heroes.

Spin Attack

You learn the signature attack of the legendary hero, the spin attack.

As an action you can attack by spinning in a circle, targeting all enemies within 5 feet of you. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses on a long rest.

Z-Targeting

Z targeting is a legendary skill that allows a user to focus their senses entirely on one target and locking in.

As a bonus action, you can Z-target one creature within line of sight. You gain advantage on attack rolls against the creature for 1 minute or until it drops to 0 hit points or falls unconscious. This feature ends if you lose line of sight of the target. 

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses on a long rest.

Perfect Dodge

An evasive maneuver used by the legendary hero, allowing for quick repositioning. Pushed to its limits, it allows for a decisive flurry.

As a reaction to being targeted by an attack you can move up to 10 feet away by rolling away, causing the attack to miss. You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses on a short rest. If you are z-targeting the creature that attacked you, you may perform a Flurry Rush immediately after moving as part of this reaction. You may perform a flurry rush once per long rest.

Flurry Rush. You can make 4 attacks against a z-targeted creature.

Ending Blow

This skill is a deadly downward thrust, capable of killing many enemies if properly executed. As an action you can perform the ending blow on a z-targeted enemy that is prone. You attack and automatically critical hit the creature, but you triple the dice instead of doubling it. You can only use this feature once per z-targeted enemy.

Jump Strike

This legendary technique teaches of performing a powerful swing by jumping beforehand, creating powerful shockwaves that can knock creatures down. When you perform an attack against a z-targeted creature, you can leap into the air and slam back down as part of the attack. The z-targeted creature and all creatures within 5 feet of you fall prone. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and regain all uses on a long rest.

Great Spin Attack

The final skill of the legendary hero, and the most powerful. Its strength is increased when the hero is at full health. Your spin attack feature is improved, capable of targeting all creatures within 10 feet of you. Hit or miss, those creatures take additional damage as if they had been hit by your weapon attack.

If you are at full health, the spin attack is improved further. The range is increased to 15 feet, and creatures take additional damage as if they had been hit twice by your weapon attack.
